1. Brand.

Any local set. But no brand like eleephone or leegoo

2. Budget.

One is around(400 to 600) plus or minus
and another one (600 to 800) or a bit more

3. Specs.
Can use USB otg, microsd, removable battery, 4g

4. What you need in the phone

good signal reception and WiFi reception, as good selfie as it can be for the price, not laggy if use lots of apps, reasonably good camera, gaming not much only games like candy crush

Of course Snapdragon 650 is a bit faster, it should close to Snapdragon 805 performance.

So, it will guarantee no lag, but no better camera than LG G2.
You should also take note it's screen quality also won't as good as LG G2.
But other wise, with finger print scanner, 32GB, 3GB RAM, Micro SD card slot, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Snapdragon version is another high end phone in budget price category.

In your opinion how good is it compared too as us zenfone 2?

ASUS Zenfone 2 (Intel processor) has a better screen and much louder and clear speaker.

But RN3 has fingerprint, metal build, much bigger battery, capacitive key that light up, better camera, and a much powerful processor.

Then, Zenfone 2 using Intel processor, which has some compatibility issue on some apps, Snapdragon processor has no such issue, due to much wider adoption in smartphone market.

Looks like rn3 ticks more requirements that's important for me.

I'm surprised that sd650 is better than Intel in zenfone 2. So this means in normal use rn3 will be non laggy at all compared to zenfone2 even though zenfone got 4gb ram?

Searchingvthrough lelongvthe non removable battery for zenfone2 is actually not expensive if you can diy. So good if you want to usr longer term.

Hi guys, I ask before in the recommended format. but seems my question not very popular.

So what's the best phone around the flexible price bracket of asus zenfone 2, redmi note 3 snapdragon, samsung j5/j7, huawei honor 5x, and other phone that have good camera and excellent selfie camera?

You can list the phone and I will do the research.

Haha, it is not because of your question not popular, but now very few forumer active at this thread already.
What you listed out indeed are some the phone worth considering at this price bracket.

Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon will be the most worth to buy.

Haha I saw some YouTube comparison between rn3 ad and j7. Looks like j7 speed it's around rn3 around normal task. Sometimes faster than rn3. And looks like samsung got better camera and esoecially video. Though only comes with 1.5gb ram and 16gb.

Asus zenfone selfie worth considering?

Those comparison on Youtube only showing the apps launching speed, but not showing the apps actual usage like scrolling down the option, navigation and usage speed. So, seems pointless to do such comparison.
Lag normally happen on long usage, when many apps being opened, turn on mobile network, GPS, load many browser page at once, switch between apps.

Camera is subjective, some prefer the over expose in low light, some prefer the normal expose picture, it depend on taste. You got to zoom in those image to see if detail is being captured or just blurred detail being capture. So, I can't comment on this, especially those low light image, need to zoom in to check the noise level, rather than checking the brightness only.

Zenfone Selfie will be same spec with J7, but with bigger storage and RAM, but many say their camera quality are not good, even the front selfie camera are just average.

Normal usage wise, RN3,J7, Zenfone Selfie will be the same, no lag, fast.
But heavy usage and gaming wise, RN3 will be more superior than those, with faster processor, and better graphic chip.
*
I agree that lag usually comes from heavy usage. Zenfone2 with 4gb of ram might fair better.
What's important is selfie camera though. All these are fairly big phones especially zenfone family prefer smaller.

the smaller
Redmi 3 no where In sight yet.

Maybe small phone will be popular again after apple introduce smaller iPhone but that will be quite a long time yet

Yep the 3GB one seems more worth it. The non-removable battery I think should be fine, nowadays a lot of phone like that. smile.gif Thanks for the recommendation. wink.gif

Some phone like asus zenfone family I saw in lelong got cheap price for non removable battery. I think for zenfone not hard to install it yourself. Other phone it's quite hard to open the cover and install new battery.

U gotta check the review on the internet. I only use rn3 the camera is so so only but good enough for me

I have been scouring the internet for reviews. From what I read it seems unconclusive. They say it's not as good as flagship but they never compared with each other or those in the price segment conclusively.
