1. Brand. (Xiaomi preferred, but open to other brands)
2. Budget. Rm250-350 (hence why i ask, test the sifu here)
3. Specs. (Min 3gb/32gb, ok cpu, microSD card slot, LTE 850 (5), LTE 1800)
4. What you need in the phone (last 24-36 months)

Cerita:
Am gonna be buying a Xiaomi A1/A2lite to replace my Asus Zenfone 5(2014). Wanted to find a secondary phone at the same time.

Dont need to game, camera not important (but not 1mp laaa), can play video n surf and YouTube without problem. Screensize min 4 inch, no max. Id take a phablet at that price if got hehe. If possible can update to latest stock Android version, or latest manufacturer Android OS version.

Hi Sifus,
I was cracking my head and browsing a few sites but can't get exact info or recommendations for a new phone.

I'm looking for the most budget possible phone with 2 criteria.

1. Needs to have 4G
2. At least 64gb of space

Not super brand conscious but I like Huawei

Lastly, the most budget possible phone with these 2 criteria. Thanks in advance!

Id recommend the Xiaomi A1 4gb/64gb. May not be cheapest 64gb, but the value for money proposition is high. Its roughly rm700 now,  may drop soon due to A2Lite coming out.

Hi all, I'm looking something similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 Active because:

1.Built like a tank, supposedly it's very durable and I'm clumsy with my phone
2.The battery life, right now I'm using Zenfone Max and I really want something with similar battery life
3.The price range, right now it's under Rm700 which is my budget.

But I read that it's AT&T exclusive, so that means its mobile data is unsuable here right?

Can you recommend me a phone like it?

for no 1 why not get those armored cases? Rm 30 to 70 can get quality one. Also tempered glass.

Maybe I can but I was never a fan of cases, so I prefer a sturdy phone on their own. Got any recommendations? Also I'm not wrong about the At&T with the S7 Active right?

I'm not very well versed with various phones. I usually ask a few ppl and from their 2-3 recommendation choose one. But sub 100usd they couldnt help hence I posted here.

Having a case = can choose any phone lo, otherwise you are like limited to a very narrow range.

For your situation, I just remember reading about this china brand phone:
https://www.techradar.com/reviews/doogee-s60
Corning glass 5, ips screen, covered ports, ip68(?), wireless charging, and what not.
It should be noted I never tried, know or know anyone who uses this brand, I just came upon it a few weeks ago surfing aliexpress.

hahaha the sturdy is really just a great bonus, but more than that it's the battery, storage size and price is what I'm prioritizing. About the S7 Active, I can't seem to find any source to confirmed of it's internet usability here in Malaysia. Do you know anything about that? How outdated is S7 by now? Also I found this

the price within my budget and the spec seems good, but like you said, I'm hesitant to buy this brand I've never heard of.

i know what u mean about buying unknown brands, haha.
Im not a Samsung fan tbh.

Search for the armoured edition, kevlar n stuff. Xiaomi quite safe, top 5 in phones internationally.
