Currently have a 3 year old Samsung Note II. It's lagging and hanging. Using a custom ROM on it.

Thinking of the Note 5, but I could only stand the original Note II software for less than a year before I had to root it and install a more streamlined ROM. Not sure if newer Samsung phones are better now.

Basically, I'm looking for something that can last about 3 years so I don't have to keep reinstalling stuff like on the Note II that I'm having. I just want it to work, since my office work already requires me to install and customise new systems all the time.

3. Specs. At least 2GB ram, 5.5 inch and above but must not above 6 inch,
4. What you need in the phone. Web browsing, FB, Whatsapp. No heavy games. Just a quite okay camera will do. Actually my preference is the screen size. My wish is bigger than 5.5" but not many choices with my budget set. Or do I miss something here?

Currently using Lenovo Vibe Z but just Kong today. Eyeing RN3 5.5", Huawei Honor 5X 5.5", Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE601KL 6".

2. Budget. Less than RM 800, max RM 1,000
3. Specs. 2GB ram, at least, low GHz quad core is fine , back camera can be 8MP or less , screen can be either 4.7' or 5'
4. What you need in the phone. Good quality feel and design must be look good

Currently using Huawei Ascend P7, looking to change some slightly better phone ...

Looking at Meizu MX4 n P8 lite now , still looking for other brand that is good design..

Thanks to your recommendation. NR 3 is very tempting but need to wait. Honor 5X also not bad. Zenfone 2 Laser 6" ZE601KL also not bad but less info to get. I heard its dual sim can hold 4G n no need to switch sim b'cause both can up at least 3G one at a time. Maybe I am wrong?

I mean Zenfone 2 the 4GB ram model, not Laser model.
