Hi all sifu, really long time never been here and forgot my ID as well and register a new one.
I got some problem with my AW m17x R1 recently. Just came back from travel work at uk and being a year never turn this thing up. Now problem is i already format my laptop and when i install the GC driver and the screen totally turn black and see nothing once it boots into the system and keyboard light gone. Anyone know what the problem now? keyboard light assume to be motherboard problem

but for the GC im not sure why. already try out the latest driver but still the same. once i turn off the discrete graphic from the bios then its turn normal. just curious what is happening on my lappy?

Mayb cmos battery dead.. any components on mobo got error kacau other parts.. posible to run boot diagnosis?

i hv issue wif my cmos battery on my m17r4... cant detect wifi back then.. weird.. just a suggestion..

i hv cases where window cant boot after fresh install becoz wifi card GG..

everything run smooth and nothing wrong when i disable the discrete card. just when enable it then on the start up also no problem even can saw my username and i still can type my password in then once enter it all screen black and only mouse cursor can be seen.

Check properties see u got hide all icons?

After all searching checking update and still the same. Dang.
Try lots diff driver for it but end up nothing change me

Now looking for any sifu can fix it. I think need to change mobo already.

If it cost too much forget about it as ur m17x specs are pretty outdated by todays standard...
