Oh, I thought need somekind of router/Wifi to be in same network. So Psvita and Ps4 can connect directly.
*
I think it's better if you've a good local network. Best if can connect the ps4 via Ethernet. Both ps4 and vita uses 2.4GHz wireless....

Connecting via the Internet is possible as well.
I tried to remote play once when I was at my friend's place while my ps4 was back at my place. wifi connection was good enough that I didn't suffer any connection loss.

do they need same account? let say my ps4 is malaysian account and my vita use amarican account, will it work?
*
Never tried before, but my guess it still work, because it show u as a guest in the screen if you play on local multiplayer game with ur friend with the same game

PS Vita can be ur second controller if you only have one controller for the PS4 biggrin.gif

If only you want to remote play from far far away... within same room or next room, theres no need internet or router thingy.

Yes, I mean only within same house. Like first and second floor only. So there's various way to play ps4 using psvita. Superb.

one of it is battery life.

anyways good luck for those who just dipped their toes into the homebrew world. had lots of fun during psp and ps2 days.

lots of today's innovation are a result of homebrew apps, like screenshots, custom music tracks etc.

Yeah I know. But now with power banks readily available, battery life is not the first concern in my opinion. Probably wouldn't even affect it by much either.

You still need local network for it to work for remoteplay. It doesn't magically work without no network.

Also anyone tried Remoteplay on pc? hmm.gif

It's possible for the PS4 to directly connect to the VITA
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/...-second-screen/
But it's usually not as smooth for me when compared to using a home wifi network. My router has a wider range and my PS4 is connected via ethernet anyway.

I've tried remote play onto my mac.
It's alright but it's limited to 720P though.
I don't really see a point...

I am using it. So i know icon_rolleyes.gif

Just SWITCH ON your PS4 and PS Vita.

Connect both by using their own wireless connection.

Means it still a NETWORK, but no need additional router or internet connection from your internet provider. laugh.gif

Use a modified USB and charge your psv anywhere without an adapter.

Yes, like was mentioned, just buy the cable. Any phone charger with detachable-USB cable should work if you plug in the USB-Vita Proprietary cable.

I think the graphics is quite different la between the two, but they do share similarities. Not everything is made of cubes with DQ Builders. biggrin.gif

I probably would not add anymore to my collection, only focus is to finish all the games available. So sad PS Vita has dieded. sad.gif
