Whoah just watched the OVA on Animax today.
Why the ending so sad wan? How come his scar can disapear? What kinda sickness he got? Not much info at wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rurouni_Kenshin#Characters I wondering where to buy the Kenshin Kaden  |

Meh, the OVA was not liked by the mangaka, Watsuki Nobuhiro (he famously hated how the anime screw up the series), thus what you see was not by him.
BUT, in volume 28 of the manga, it was said that the scar did not dissappear because of an old japanese beleive that if a scar was made because of revenge, as long as that person holding the grudge still live, it will not dissappear. According to the anime, he died to Tubercolosis, but Watsuki once said in an interview he never wanted to end Kenshin that way (because it was a shounen manga, and he beleive shounen manga should have a good ending), and Kenshin was supposed to go to Hokkaido to help Saitou Hajime, but he decided to skip that arc and end the series. I have Kenshin Kaden FYI  |

Yeah. Kaoru also die.. Sob... But the son took over as the wielder of the sword. lolx.
But kinda like Shinji and his gf though. lol.. The manga ending is the best. The anime... out from the manga alot esp after Shisio time. lolx.. In anime, its Amakutsa but in manga.. story of Tomoe brother. lolx.. The best anime for Samurai X I vote for is how he get his scar. Buy the original anime from Japan which is uncensored as its the best.. Tv censored too much ady. That one thing for sure.  |

don't watch TV.. go download it or something... it just sucks with malay subs and censors...
i say i like both the manga and the anime's ending.. the anime's end has a little dramatical feel to it.. it's better to know how he lived till how he dies... and his grown up kid... i like that part too.. and i believe the animation director planned that the scar disappear after he dies.. so.. as long as one of the fellas die, the scar will disappear... |

In the OVA the master said the technique will die with him.Perhaps there is still some secrets he did not impart to Kenshin. Yahiko was trained by Kenshin. Kenshin's son Kenji got trained by the master. Don't know who is better though. |

OVA one is super dramatic and boring IMHO.
I don't really like it, perhaps they think its classy and fits with Kenshin. But I felt I was watching a love drama more than RK. |

Meh, i got that Jump issue. That was Watsuki's answer to the lame OVA
And the Kaden is Rurouni Kenshin Artbook + Q&A and Info for the manga. It was released with the last chapter of the series, where all of them except Saitou and the chicken head meet for a picnic. I think I got a scan of that somewhere. but truly, the OVA was really lam3rz |

Trust and Betrayal OVA series were so much better..even got the best rating @ ANN..but Reflection..sigh..so disapointed..btw the Animax version is director's cut rite??
