Onkyo SR605 cheapest HDMI 1.3 with trueHD and DTS-HD-MA so far kua..

after listening to uncompressed tracks, makes those DD tracks (even playing on 5figure AV amps) sound like MP3.. er..heck actually maybe it's MP3 level of compression, cos only 448kbps data shared with 5.1 channels...

if not mistaken 2in one out (HDMI) not much I/O cos it's entry level in this DD/DTS HD audio range.

pricing you better ask htkaki..

htkaki, I belum get the 605, still considering.. how much ar? can do bulk buy from you ar.. got 3 interested party here.. hehe!

was quoted 10-15% lower.. if can get around similar US prices of 2-2.2K I'll seriously consider...

I think got a simple 2:1 HDMI switcher.. UK AV mage got advertise before and freebie for letter of the month thing.. I think 20-29 pounds.. maybe some shop here or in SG got sell?

cos we nearly bought a new model which can't do what this old model can do mah.. which is to accept PCM HD audio 5.1...

even if kena, no choice lor, just buy BD30 and use analog RCA to input to the amp lor..
