EXCELLENT CONDITION - 9.2/10 - super clean - plastic laminate still on rear cavity cover - functionally flawless with only a few extremely minor cosmetic imperfections/blemishes that are barely noticeable whatsoever



- some swirling/cloth/pick scratches from regular handling & general usage

- a tiny little black mark on the logo on the headstock

- a small scratch next to the left of the truss rod cover

- a minuscule fingernail sized mark on the fretboard next to the nut

- a couple very minor blemishes in the clearcoat on the back edges either side of the strap button - entirely inconspicuous & impossible to photograph

- slight wear on the TOM bridge finish where you rest your picking hand/from palm-muting


- extra jumbo frets have only very light hints of wear on select areas of particular frets (mostly 1-4) with 96%+ remaining & have been freshly polished to a super smooth finish in case you couldn't tell from the pics!

- otherwise no issues & generally supremely clean throughout unless scrutinising aforementioned particular areas





This Maverick is an older LTD model originating from the renowned World Musical Instrument Co. factory in Korea - one that I would contest has been built to a higher standard of quality than the vast majority of current-gen equivalents within a similar price range. It really is a deceptively awesome axe considering the inherent budget-oriented associations & pre-conceived connotations that come with the logo on the headstock & number on the fretboard. At the very least, it's more akin to 400/500/600 series & recent Korean Schecter/Dean/etc. stuff in raw spirit, construction, playability & tone than what the model name might seem to suggest.

[size=9]THE BOTTOM LINE: A superb sounding & feeling - not to mention genuinely drop-dead gorgeous - show-stopping axe in the affordable-mid-range category. Made in Korea & as solid a build as they come really. Not much more that hasn't already been said. A great guitar that I genuinely enjoy playing every single time I pick her up; & truly manages to hold its own impressively amongst ones worth 2-3 times as much. With some tasteful mods - this thing is just about as fine a player as you'll find in this price range.
