To my doorstep.
When i go thru the items... it will not be a simple install. What they give is 2 piece of plastic sheet which one for the front and one for the back. the Back portion has cutouts for sides, top and bottom. even has for camera.... for sensors - don't have. A squeegee. Lint cloth and instructions printed on A4 paper. Mind you - no packaging was given at all - its' just all within an envelope backed by hard cardboard. Installation scale for noob like me - scale 1 to 10 (10 hardest) - it will 8 for me. they advise to use a soap and water with wet fingers and wet the surface of the phone and sp - and apply. squeeze out the water on one side first - to confirm the placement is right, before proceeding to next. always keep fingers wet to prevent from fingerprints - then wait from 2 to 5 days to dry and clear. since the phone is waterproof, it will be no problem... hope for the best... How much?
thinking to get one too.. QUOTE(m300 @ Mar 23 2016, 04:59 PM) The prices on AliExpress keep on changing. It is really a free market. When I first narrowed the choice down to two or three Sellers, I put the selections into the Cart but not make payment yet. It so happened that a few days later, when I looked at the items in the Cart, I noticed the Seller had reduced his price for this Choetech T518 so I decided then to proceed to pay. Sometimes the price change go my way like in this instance. Sometimes they go the other way ie the Seller increase the price. |

So which means have to buy separate charger then. But then how do they detect on whether to slow down the charge to prevent over charging..... i wonder.
Maybe Aukey 3.0 charger? thanks QUOTE(K1d0 @ Mar 23 2016, 10:46 PM) |

Thank you for the info and feedback...
I am looking at the new sandisk gonna launch soon... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1233...pro_uhs_ii.html http://www.adorama.com/IDSMSDPE128.html?ho...urce=cj_1796839 Still not sure to get 64gb or 128GB .... Will try adoptable storage once i got these new cards.... what app u use for backup? QUOTE(Amal @ Mar 29 2016, 05:20 PM) For Read speed should be around the same speed for Evo+ and Pro+ on the S7 Edge. This post has been edited by zmcqdv: Mar 29 2016, 05:48 PMFor Write speed if i'm not mistaken, Evo+ can do around 2x MB/s, Evo Pro+ can do around 4x MB/s. But if use on PC the difference is quite huge on write speed(Evo+ 20MB/s, Pro+ 90MB/s). If you are aiming 64GB or less, you could take a look at Sandisk Extreme Pro. Better read and write speed. As for adoptable storage, IMHO better go with the fastest card available for the size. Mine using adoptable storage on Samsung Pro+ 128GB. No issue, slow or lagging so far. Going to do weekly backup just in case. [attachmentid=6262757] Noticed that even the Oculus apps goes into the SD storage. Not sure if all or some only. |

ultimate shield is the transparent for both back n front.
https://www.ultimateshield.co.uk It uses wet transfer technique instead of dry. QUOTE(quintesson @ Mar 30 2016, 10:45 PM) currently other than Dbrand is there any other skin protector (front and back) that is transparent? This post has been edited by zmcqdv: Mar 30 2016, 11:30 PMis so unfortunate if to cover the original colour of the phone with these skin protector or casing, i found the original is already very nice and cool. |
