Yup same here, I did a little digging awhile back, turns out this bank will not supporting any payment method that doesn't have a TAC now, so can't buy any playstore app using them. If you check about this issue online, there are a lots of raging customer about this new security that they implement. And the best thing is, they never announce about this security implementation. That Malaysian bank for you

Let's me make it simple, maybank card doesnt support playstore anymore. Yes maybank have tac and only layan payment that need tac. Does playstore request tac during payment, no right. So maybank will not support it. I also shock but now I juz pay using hotlink, fast n better.
Mate, we all know playstore doesnt require tac, thats why now maybank doesnt support it. Last couple of month still can. Now cannot anymore, dont trust me try call maybank.

tldr; Cannot buy app using maybank anymore, not support playstore payment.
