How bout this settings, what is it for?

Guys yest I had a problem..I forgot my pattern lock n unable to unlock my device...I did hard reset by pressing power button+ volume up + home screen button

This method works n now I can use my device again.

My question is

If this method can bypass the pattern n fingerprint lock, wats the point of setting a pattern of fingerprint lock in the first place..u get wht I mean...

You will not be able to access the device without the correct credentials. This Google account verification prevents unauthorized users from accessing or using your device if it has been reset to factory settings without your permission (for example, if your device is lost or stolen). You should remove your Google account before shipping your device to Samsung or any other service provider for service and before resetting the device to factory settings.

If a device is supports the FRP feature and a Google account has been added to the device and the device has then been Factory reset by the customer (or other 3rd party); then once the device has rebooted, the customers Google account details will be required to complete the setup wizard
