Just discovered that if you long press the "back" button, it will activate in-app menu function. Just tried it and it works on Nova home, Internet and Setting. Not sure if that's the case on s6edge but definitely not on Note 3

SOT and battery life vary according to people and depending on each usage pattern. Some people are using power saving with 0 background sync, not using any location app like weather or waze. Some using with min brightness level.

S7edge battery is pretty optimises I would said. My location is always on, Bluetooth on 2.5 hour during my driving time, background sync for weather and 2 email account 24/7, waze for 2.5hours since my last unplugged. Other usage is Web surfing, whatsapp, line, wechat, fb and etc

I'm using the stock browser since day 1 but don't seems to have any issue or hang. For me stock browser load faster than chrome hmm.gif

Agreed. Used to use dolphin but the loading speed is very slow. Chrome was nice but battery hogging like what others have mentioned. Ever since LP, stock browser has the best surfing experience for me. The only set back is i can't seems to find a way to make page load in desktop version by default. And stock browser can't open link in background

Not sure if the issue is really browser related, but stock browser is very smooth at my end. Furthermore the tab button is located at the bottom, make it easier to access compared to chrome.

Just to check, did you enable screen lock using fingerprints or just swipe unlock? One my friend setup fingerprint but using swipe unlock.

Furthermore, did you enable any location service like setting your house as 'trusted place' in smart lock setting as suggested by one of the forumer few pages earlier?

One way to identify is to uninstall your apps and reinstall back one by one to monitor the behavior of your phone's frozen. This is what I did during the olden days, but didn't face any issue with s7.

Another reason for freeze or hang could be due to some users install disabler pro and disable some core system service and affect the performance.

Installing the app won't necessarily cause the problem. I have installed this app too but without any frozen issue. Just make sure you didn't disable any core system service without knowing their function.

Any sort of locking method can't guaranteed you that your device is 100% from being stolen or safe. It's one of the measure to prevent your data being accessed by unauthorised party.

With hard reset, people won't be able to see what was left in your phone and get hold of your personal data in the phone.

Anyways guys, I was a Note2 user before this s7e. In Note2 for Mobile Hotspot, theres an option to use the internet sharing via USB. Cant seem to find in S7e. Any tips? Why I am asking this is because my desktop doesnt have WiFi/Bluetooth. I tried googling but not sure of the term to google. All i found was connecting via WiFi or WiFi setups sharing etc. Nothing about USB connection sharing.

If you are referring to USB tethering, this option is still available.

Setting > Mobile Hotspot and tethering > USB tethering

Those who are using the stock browser, long press on back / home / bookmark / tab soft button on the bottom bar will give you some quick access / additional function

Don't have such issue, in fact the network signal is better and stronger compared to Note 3. During Note 3, after a call, it takes quite a long time to switch from G to 4G, now with this phone, i would said it's instantly and I constantly getting 4G+ around my working area.

I have install dozens of apps and my phone didn't lag nor random reboot or freeze until today since day 1. This is the first time I don't hv the urge of rooting my phone compared to the olden days.

Did you enable auto backup to gdrive? I suspect maybe there is some connection issue while performing the backup and whatsapp is constantly establishing connection to do the backup and this would drain lot of battery.

Other than that it's very unusual for the battery drain. I have abt 20 to 50 whatsapp msg daily and it uses less than 10% of my battery

Yes, plus the edge UX. Some may find it gimmicky but personally I find it's useful especially with the apps & task edge panel.

Currently only available for US region but you can download it from XDA. The apk has been hosted in gdrive.

But remember on the uninstall method as it won't uninstall as normal app

Problems only happened if you disable something you are not familiar or some core service. Disabling app alone won't have such issue.

Yes, it's due to the clear coat. I have that issue as well but after i remove the coating, voila, it fits nicely into the jack
