Sell it off and upgrade to Pro series, memory card price drop fast too especially the high capacity version, that day I went to Lowyat, I saw Extreme Pro 128GB 95mb selling 3++, others 128GB 80mb selling 2++, Pro 64GB 95mb below 200 can get.
*
I think that's the price for SD card, not microSD.

comparison for Samsung 128gb Evo+ and Samsung 32gb Pro.
Bought the 32gb Pro for another set of S7edge. The price only slightly cheaper than 64gb Evo+.
The Pro not that worth.

cool man! thumbsup.gif
i should get the extreme pro rather than the Samseng Pro
*
The problem is, it is the only choice for a fast 128GB Micro SD card.
Well, another choice is Lexar x1800 128GB, which cost a bomb inclusive of postage.
I also have an unopened sandisk extreme pro 64GB, bought it before the samsung pro+. sweat.gif

Now using my samsung pro+ as an adoptable storage.
Everything seems good at the moment. Hopefully it stays like that. laugh.gif

Did the test on my 64gb Samsung microsd pro,

Read: 67.65 Mbps
Write: 29.32 Mbps

It's kinda of slow... sad.gif
*
Not that bad.
But if you want a faster 64GB, get a Sandisk Extreme Pro.

QUOTE(Dozz @ Mar 27 2016, 02:08 PM)
[attachmentid=6246186]

I got around 60MB read and 30-40MB write.
Its slower than what I expexted
But it is much faster if you do the test in computer.
*
Yeah, it's the S7E reader. Should be able to do better.

But as long as it run everything(apps, record 4k, etc) without hiccup, then i have no complaint. laugh.gif

the real solution is root & bind the directory between internal sd & ext sd.
*
That's what I did on my previous device.

Now, playing around with adoptable storage.

Although it said internal storage, but it is actually on the external sd.

Just need to make sure to do weekly backup, incase anything happen. sweat.gif

Still on my clear-coat.
Dilemma whether should take off the clear-coat or not.
Clear-coat feels very rubbery at first, but after a week, it feels less rubbery.
My clear-coat also got scratched on the 2nd day.
One thing I like the clear-coat is that it sticks very well even after changing to different casing.

I tot someone here has test using this card and not much difference in speed with evo or sumthin....
is it true?

Any slowdown if convert this card into adoptable storage... anyone?
*
For Read speed should be around the same speed for Evo+ and Pro+ on the S7 Edge.
For Write speed if i'm not mistaken, Evo+ can do around 2x MB/s, Evo Pro+ can do around 4x MB/s.
But if use on PC the difference is quite huge on write speed(Evo+ 20MB/s, Pro+ 90MB/s).

If you are aiming 64GB or less, you could take a look at Sandisk Extreme Pro. Better read and write speed.

As for adoptable storage, IMHO better go with the fastest card available for the size.

Mine using adoptable storage on Samsung Pro+ 128GB.
No issue, slow or lagging so far.
Going to do weekly backup just in case.

Noticed that even the Oculus apps goes into the SD storage.
Not sure if all or some only.

Thank you for the info and feedback...  rclxms.gif

I am looking at the new sandisk gonna launch soon...

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1233...pro_uhs_ii.html

http://www.adorama.com/IDSMSDPE128.html?ho...urce=cj_1796839

Still not sure to get 64gb or 128GB ....  hmm.gif
Will try adoptable storage once i got these new cards....

what app u use for backup?
*
Was eyeing on that previously, but can't wait any longer. laugh.gif

Actually there's another fast 128GB, called Lexar x1800.
Same price as the extreme pro. Got on amazon, but the shipping is very expensive.
In the end cost about RM1k+.
The benchmark score on the S7 edge also doesn't look that great compared to the 64GB Extreme Pro.
So, I cancel.

You can backup using the Samsung Smart Switch for PC.
Very easy to use. thumbup.gif
