Edge screen always for me is just a design not a features. I will get it if the Edge match it nicely. (Not the previous Note Edge as that one is ugly).

Yes true. At least not the moment. Future not sure but now definitely not and high possibility not in future as well.

From XDA thread. Most prefer Samsung as it is more sharp, better white balance and less noise.

Not really, from XDA thread, Sony sensor is much noisy, less sharp and yellowish in low light.

The only good on Sony sensor is it is slightly 1 or 2 seconds much faster focus than Samsung one.

For this I agree. Samsung phone always like that in new release. After 2 or 3 updates it will gone.

This also apply to Note5 where now no single animation lag but S7 Edge actually do have in certain area certain time on animation smoothness issue.

This is the part I not agree. Sony Xperia phone camera apps all lag to me expecially in low light condition. Samsung wise never lag in camera performance and in fact the best or second best, it is comparable performance as LG phone.

I totally agree. It is sad manufacturer put high quality glass because all a lot users don't believe it and die die want to put on screen protector and headache because can't find nice scene protector or temper glass for edge screen.

It is really unnecessary to have screen protector for phone now. Be brave using the phone without screen protector. You only need it if you stay at beach and play sands everyday or you intend to scratch it using diamond.

They rather use those sticky silicon type screen protector just for the sack phone must use screen protector.

Tonight I will write a review on how I though about this phone. Haha!

I also face once auto restart when I use Fingerprint authentication on PayPal. This is working under Note5 but it is definitely broken in S7 Edge for the moment.

After that I facing com.samsung.faceservice not responding issue from time to time and also auto restart issue again one time. I google around and decide disable it using Package Disable pro and shutdown the phone later.

Now my phone no longer facing restart issue and that com.samsung.faceservice not responding issue.

I dunno what this com.samsung.faceservice functioning but I believe this is the culprit.

I will try enable back once got new firmware update appear.

Actually clear cache won't help as it will coming back soon, the only better solution now is disable it. I had no idea what this for, so far I don't face any apps required it.

After few days usage of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Here is my summary view of it.

• Screen - the color is much punching and nicer if compare with Note5, when compare side by side I feel my previous Note5 is a bit blueish. I much prefer the color tunes on S7 Edge, it seems this time the adapted to screen color is much accurate now. Simply gorgeous!
• Camera - The auto focus is amazingly fast, Note5 camera is fast but no way near S7 Edge camera. The output is as usual great as what Samsung always did but in my opinion, Samsung shall slightly turn down the sharpening, it is somehow over sharpening sometimes. Daylight and nigh time is great output and nothing to worry about from focusing to result. The add-on Motion Photo is real cool when watching on it, I know this is somehow copying iOS Live Photo, but who care!
• Performance - it is undeniable nowadays performance is never an issue even for middle range phone, so nothing to worry about this beast!
• Animation Smoothness - S7 Edge is fast but if you ask me Note5 or S7 Edge animation much smoother? I will tell you Note5 is much smoother in recent Android 5.1.1 firmware. I not means S7 Edge smoothness really bad, it is still extremely smooth but need some fine tune as you can occasionally seen certain part animation is slightly less smoothness especially when first time open Themes in home screen and also that Game Launcher.
• Sound Quality - I found out S7 Edge output is much stronger, deeper and louder than my previous Note5 when using headset. For a normal user not audiophile, I am satisfied with it sound output quality.
• Edge Functions - For me Edge is just added beauty to the phone, the functionality still gimmick to me, I never use any of them even though I didn't turn it off, phone got 4GB RAM, no worried let some unnecessary thing running for nothing.
• Phone handling issue - I never had issue on handle Edge phone since my first use of S6 Edge probably due to I always hold side all the while since I use touch screen phone. So I am perfectly fine using S7 Edge without facing any accidentally palm register the screen.
• New Features - Game Launcher is cool but Samsung shall think about hiding the games icons automatically once it is auto added to Game Launcher. The Always On Screen is my favorable and I will definitely use it, now I no need turn on screen just for the sake to check clock, but Samsung shall implement third party apps notification support.
• Bugs - The finger sensor not working in third party apps for example PayPal where working perfectly in my previous Note5. Another issue is the com.samsung.faceservice not responding, advice disable it for now using Package Disable Pro until Samsung fixing it. I don't face any auto restart or hang issue anymore after disable this.
• Final Though - Do I regret switch my Note5 to S7 Edge? Definitely Nope! I am happily owning it.
