exactly what i think too (but kinda scared to mention later i got flame here)

no doubt the edge screen is merely a design choice, more on the aesthetic than being practical.. samsung can add that edge screen function on any phone by adding the edge panel on the software.. hence make me think that sammy should retain the usual price point on this (RM2.5k-ish) and feel this kinda overpriced as they used the edge screen as the selling point. well not sure if they have patented the edge screen? coz i hope some chinese manufacturer will follow this design, so we can have such beauty at a cheaper price, and will keep pressure on these tech giant.. just like Apple starting to lose sale volume because there are many other premium designed phones out there nowadays.

Contemplating wether to change this to Note 5 instead.. i skipped note 5 so im not sure, but based on spec it should stands out at par with S7e.. after playing this for 2 days now, all i got is the beauty, amazing screen, but thats it.. on note 5 the pen could be useful to me..

But i must say that this S7e is really a matured product by samsung. Last time i always feel that the S series were the experimental release, and the Note series which is released later is their actual score of the release year.. for this year, if samsung just take this S7e and add in S-pen, i will be satisfied enough..

Currently, the S edge series is more expensive than the Note series, hence i think note 5 is more worthy for me.. but if Note 6 is more expensive then this, then i will reconsider the usefullness of the s-pen.. .. since i ditched my Note 4, i rely on my Note 10.1 (2014) for the s-pen needs. So yeah, its kinda useful to me

Hence i am thinking, considering depreciation of value, i should trade this to a used note 5 so i can save the fund for Note 6

Yesterday i also tried to purchase an app from the store, and my card declined.

Just now i received a call from Maybank, they detected my card was attempted to be used on Goolgle service. So the caller told me to call CS to make activation..

It seems need to ask for activation first, perhaps they will impose charge for it? Will call them later today

I haven't encounter any hiccup yet.. first time experiencing an android phone so buttery smooth out of box. No need bother to fiddle with software, disable this or that, use diff launcher etc.. just that today something is draining my battery
