it says since device nt used 24 hrs use pattern to unlock...help me pls...dont tel i hav to go samsung store

Guys the device is only aski g for pattern lock n refusing to acknowledge my thumb print...

The waiting time getting longer n longer...help me sifu

What soap you put? You mean just straight put all SP and phone into the soap water and stick the SP inside the water and after done take out? Won't the soap water hurt the phone aluminium? Can let us see some photo?

Have you sign into your Samsung Account in your phone? If Yes, go to website to unlock the both fingerprint/passlock
If No, Samsung Service Center is your only option.

Try force restart by pressing volume down + power button. If cannot, could you try to unlock the phone by using your Gmail login on the phone security page?

Believe me, NO SP sticks to ths Edge screen perfectly. I have replaced the Sp for my S6 Edge for the 6th time and with different types. I have given up on this so am going to wait for the cheapo ones to apply.

force restart wont help. it's safety features.
perhaps its time to pay samsung sc a visit. bring along ur receipt as proof of purchase.

Have you tried the smart switch? Im not fammiliar with Mate 8 but you can try it. Use the charging cable and the OTG provided in s7e box. Connect the 2 phone. IIRCthe OTG should be at s7e side. If not then just switch. The app will run itself just follow on screen. AFAIK i just used to transfer apps contacts and some other stuff. Unsync bookmarks wouldnt be able to transfer this way.

Also i think inthe last thread soeone said dont reset the firmware or something just yet. It hasnt been updated. The last guy did that ended up at the service center. Try search thread for "samsung switch" or was it "smart switch".
