Yes. Correct. Very impressive .

Compare to iphone 4/4s that after 5 years vs 6 /6 plus after 5 years, iphone 4/4s is very laggy, while 6/6 plus is still quite smooth and acceptable for normal usage.

If compare relatively, maybe my iphone X will still feel very fast even after 5 years given its spec.

I think this is probably the reason why iPhones sales drop? becos all the current iphone models are seriously over-powered for current needs which makes it many many future proof than before.

Ya, I think five years for iPhone X no issues, considering iPhone 6 Plus is running on 1GB RAM laugh.gif

quite long time. the size and speed of the phone suits me well. the rest of the smartphone kinda large to my palm
*
Then yes, definitely worth changing the battery. The phone will go another two or three years easily.

Where does this info comes from? Is there a different app that provides such info?
*
I think most battery health apps have this. I use coconutBattery on my Mac.

I saw this app too just the other day. As I recall, many years ago I was told of this app but I didn't look it up thinking it was a paid app. Since its free I am too using this app in my rmbp.

Pity there’s no iOS version of the app smile.gif

Wtb iphone se, where to get a new set of this if possible?
*
I think you can only get refurbished or second hand sets now, already discontinued for quite some time.

i think it depends. some may not be able to accept a used set. like me. haha.  tongue.gif

if it is refurbished apple set, i am ok. not used one.
*
Actual refurbished by Apple sets aren't so easily available for sale around here, if buying those refurbished by third party ones then might as well get a used set laugh.gif

I just need something apple as backup device so I though this is the best. Maybe I'll take a look on latest ipod but some apps won't support because no sim? I'm not sure
*
One thing to bear in mind is that iOS support for 6S and SE will most likely end next year. So if you want something for at least 2 years, minimum now would be an iPhone 7, that is, if updates are important to you.

IMO I'd rather have a used iphone rather than a refurbished set, unless it came from apple. 3rd party refurbished set, may not contain the original parts etc.

Yeah, agreed smile.gif

Wife drop her se inside washing machine for around 20 minutes, any suggestions?

1. Send to authorize repair? - is it worth it to get a replacement unit?
2. Or just send to 3rd party shop?
*
Tried putting it in a container of rice or blow-drying with a hairdryer yet?
