mine used to be 3%, after put mail to fetch every hour and install fb... it drops more than 3%... around 7% I think... Sometimes there are mass conversation happening in whatsapp group all night long, then will drop further. And I don't clear the apps, don't find any different actually...
I think yours is OK...

Thanks for sharing yours.. I guess my device battery life is fine then~

Everyone taste different.

Yeah, true...
When the first I see the real device I looks gold is more ok for me... But not *tahan look... Get bored after awhile.. Then I go for rose gold, but every one ask me why you choose the girly color.. Even the bank staff ask me same thing too lol ... But I'm feel fine with it.. As long as you like it...

To be honest spec wise any phone is better than iPhone if compare the price.
*
i agreed..
but sometimes i feel good spec doesn't mean have good performance.. depend on how good the OS is... especially on android

Hi Everyone..
I'm currently using Note 5...is it worth to buy a new Iphone se and sell my Note 5?

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Jul 22 2016, 04:26 PM)
Frankly, android phone for experience user is worth having. Apple is user friendly. Compare functionality, android platform I think is superior than apple so very good for experience users. For normal users like myself that just want a reliable handphone, then it is ideal. I first started with the ip4. No longer hangs, no more issues with viruses, straight forward interface and easy to navigate. Everything is done through iTunes. Of course, for Apple, apps are sometimes not cheap and also noway to use crack apps. So in a nutshell, stress free user experience. There are pros and cons but for me, the IOS is for me.

QUOTE(sengkin95 @ Jul 22 2016, 05:53 PM)
If you're that type of consumer who envies high-level functionality and extensive customisation, then it would best for you keep using your Note 5. iPhone SE is favoured more by consumers due to simplicity of iOS and the security of its ecosystem. Personally, I dumped my Nexus 6P because I don't need all the customisations options it offered. I wanted a phone that's simple and elegant in terms of its looks and software, and I found them in iPhone SE. Currently my secondary daily driver before iPhone 6S Plus

+1
but as performance really feel IOS is much better....

Hey i-brothers and sisterrs!

New iphone user here. Just bought the SE gold colour but I not really know how to use.

In android when we open app, we can close by back button. How to close app after use in iphone?

ANy other commands or features of iphone i should know?
*
QUOTE(sengkin95 @ Jul 23 2016, 06:07 PM)
To close app(s) on iPhone SE:
1. Double press the home button to activate the App Switcher
2. Tap and hold on an app preview card and swipe up until it pushes off the top of the screen to close that specific app
3. Repeat the swipe up trick to quit other apps as desired, you can swipe left and right to navigate the app switcher as usual to quit apps not shown on the initial screen
4. Press the Home button once or tap on any app to exit the App Switcher
*
Clear explanation here lol...
And also if you wish to clear ram , hold power button until shutdown screen appear and hold home button until it go back to home screen 😄

I'm thinking to get a tempered glass screen protector. The one u mention recommended? How much it cost?

Btw how long u guys battery can last?
*
mine is sceen protector not tempered glass, i purchase the casing and the package is include the SP.. so far this is the best SP i used, what make me annoy the most is oily screen then finger print.. but with this SP it doesn't so oily ( if compare to other brand )...
so i wonder will be huge different or not if compare with Spigen 1

QUOTE(sengkin95 @ Jul 25 2016, 02:59 PM)

Hi guys,

Currently I'm using 5c 16GB and thinking to 'upgrade' to SE, only the 16GB model suit my budget since I only have 2k.

May I know is there anyone here using the SE 16GB model? So far the small storage suit your usage?

My phone usage can be consider minimal as I only use my phone to call, Whatsapp (quite a lot media), take photo (not always), music (apple music).

Anyone can advise because I don't want to feel 'I should've gotten the 64GB version' after I bought it.

For me, I expect my phone can last me 3 years.

Thanks guys smile.gif
*
i'm using 16GB too, for me no problem at all and this is my primary phone... i didn't store any song in, for picture i backup to google photo and delete in the device... but for more *safety better go for larger storage.. like other said, apps now really eat alot of space.. more feature more storage require... biggrin.gif

It will make the phone a lot bigger.....  sad.gif

Maybe just a power bank would be a better solution.  biggrin.gif

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Aug 6 2016, 03:18 PM)
They are quite expensive IIRC. Apart from the price, it can only be used with individual handphones. unlike a power bank, it can be shared with others too. For me a lightning cable is a must. Wherever I go, there will be usb ports available, even nowadays, most recent cars have facility in them.
*
i see, i think just stay with powerbank then... thanks for suggestion biggrin.gif

Hi, I just bought iphone SE, and was using Xperia Z before this (Android), ermmm, do any of u guys know how to transfer my whatsapp message to my iphone SE? Really need that messages in my old phone as it holds lots of important information. So if any of u guys experience or know how to transfer, mind to let me know the method?
*
QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 7 2016, 01:06 PM)
Use backuptrans software to transfer from android to iphone or iphone to android
Is worth the money as is perfect transfer
I had used both versions before
One licence can be use up to 3 phones
Just make sure you download correct version
There is no solution yet for windows to android or iphone
*
+1 , i use backuptrans too but voice message and media can't be restored in my phone...
But it's realy a great too... rclxms.gif

Requested update last night, triggered this  morning. Took few minutes to finish. Mostly seems good, still facing few bugs here and there. Battery pretty much drain faster than ios9 as per usage now.
*
Updated mine, first thing I noticed is battery... charge slower... gonna try it till tonight for the battery life.. well, I still love ios9 interface more actually.. haha but overall is smooth...
edit: what bug you found there?

Been using the SE for 5 days straight, while leaving my Nexus 6P behind all day.

Coming from Android(ever since 2009), and this is my first iPhone and iOS device. I'd say wow I never knew I'd have more fun than I would using this phone for a day to day use.

I thought I'd share my experiences, not exactly a review. Incase someone looking to get this SE.

The optimization for the battery is awesome!! I can't really kill this thing for the whole day, plus I only had that one included cable at my home so I cant really charge it while driving or at the office but damnn I can be rest assured that it consistently been idle when not in use and I love the total control I have over the background refresh per app. I can tinker with settings and play around with the camera and not even 1 percent dropped. Still amazed by it. My latest battery usage: unplugged at 7PM last night, voice calls for 2 hours, whatsapp and instagram moderately, some emails, currently at 39%. About 16 hours of standby and 6 hours of usage. it even rang the alarm for quite some time since I kinda overslept this morning. Wow. Just wow. hehe. I know its cuz of the smaller screen and resolution, but my 3450mah 2k 5.7 inch Nexus 6p would have died on me by 8am this morning.

I love that I can use this phone one handed again after a few years of using big phones, but at the same time damn typosss a lot during the first 2 days. Now i just got used to it.

the screen itself is okay, when u dont compare it to a higher resolution one, but damn my nexus 6p screen looks gorgeous eveytime i turn the screen on. but battery life over screen any day for me! no complaint though!

Raise to Wake feature, works really well compared to Android's ambient display. Always turned on when expected, so i dont have to guess everytime I pick up the phone.

Auto Brightness >>> WIN! Complete WIN for an iPhone. I never realized when did the slider ever changed when go in and out from the outdoors.

Camera is snappy, the phone body didnt easily became warm when used a lot. Camera interface a lot more user friendly, point of shoot is what i like. 6P wins in lowlight and even it outdoors but i take point and shoot with quality any day since n6p will take a good 1-2 seconds, especially with HDR+ turned on. and n6p will become warm easily cuz of the processing. when it gets warm, battery life decrease faster.

Selfie camera kinda good for it 1.2MP but my N6P 8MP had a lot more details and better in lowlight. However if you always take selfies outdoors and never zoom it in, its pretty decent. I am still amazed though.

Speaker quality is good but loudness cant beat front facing stereo speakers.

Mute switch, godsend. tongue.gif

iCloud, +1. I invested in Google Drive since it was launched but backup and restore on the iCloud is magical. hehe. Its like i dont have to worry if i ever change iPhones, reset them, etc. Everything will be back onto place, just like I set it up. I am considering to upgrade the plan to 50GB one, once I got used to the ecosystem more.

Storage, currently 16GB is enough for me though. Not an issue.

iOS10 kinda nice. I like the most part of it and somehow the grid app drawer grows on me. I just dont want to mess with it and use my phone and apps. Widgets on the left of the screen, love it cuz I dont need to put it on the homescreen. the only thing i wish is if i can drag the apps to my desired position(to be able to view the wallpaper haha). I do however miss the Now on Tap, Google Now, and grouped notifications on Android. I really thinks that Android handles notifications much better but I guess looking the badge notification still works for me.

Ouh and last night I spent 30 minutes converting and dragging a tone so that i can use custom ringtones through itunes hahahaha. this i cannot tolerate ah, so annoying but i guess its just one time(since i only use 1 tone for a lifetime) so i'll let it pass.

In conclusion, for someone who kutuk iOS over the years, and only ever used Android. SE is a good device to try, and I am not disappointed. biggrin.gif

I guess thats all for my experiences. let me know if there's any tips and tricks that i dont know hehe biggrin.gif
TL:DR >> I am happy with my purchase and not regretted one bit. I might even become an iPhone loyalist after the 7.
*
Wow, seems like you really enjoy your iPhone so much, I jump from android too.. iPhone SE also my first iOS phone... I don't feel like going back to android again after use iOS... haha welcome to IOS bro
