restart or soft reset by pressing power button + home button till the screen show apple logo , let the phone load by itself , then see how
Already do the soft reset and everything, still wont load. :/The Apple iPhone SE Discussion Thread | V1, A big step for small.

QUOTE(Kilohertz @ Jun 7 2016, 08:41 AM) I think only happen to certain phone. I compare mine with some display set in harvey norman, the display set doesn't have the yellow screen but mine have. But the brightness on the display unit is slightly lower than mine tho. |

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Jun 7 2016, 09:01 AM) The best iphone retina screen IMHO is still the ip4 and ip4s. After those models all got yellow tint. ip5,ip5s,6,6+ and 6s all got the yellow hue somewhat. Can really see it when it is put next to each other. Really! My sis 4s screen is still very good after 5 years usage! |

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Jun 7 2016, 02:50 PM) I did complain one time loong time ago regarding the yellow hue on the retina display. That time was at KLCC. Infact all the phones are like that after ip4s. If overall dispay got yellow not so much issue, its just some units do have defects at the corners i.e., the corners have like shadow.. Can test with one colour background. this one is real issue, apple will replace no problem. If yellow screen, i think its more product already like that... Yeah. It's not the whole screen is yellow. Only some part of it it's yellow. But thinking of need to wait 14 days to get it replace, makes me lazy pulak. |

QUOTE(patrick94 @ Jun 12 2016, 02:49 PM) Thanks for the info... Some say it's easy to spoil but I just don't care. It's there already, just use it lah. And also it will be pointless if you get a SE but don't use the touch id.And also is it save to use the home button often? Will it spoil easily like previous iPhone? Sry alot of question... New apple user here... |

Sent my iPhone SE to claim warranty because of the yellow screen issue. But the girl at the service counter told me she cannot guarantee the replacement phone won't have the same problem. Wtf. Fingers crossed that I will get a replacement unit with good condition.
Update : surprisingly I got a replacement unit on the spot. But there's still yellow patches on top of the screen. This post has been edited by lionn: Jun 21 2016, 04:41 PM |
