(just add the http at front)

Is it worth it or should i just got to welding shop and make myself a full power cage? How much will it cost if i ask tukang besi to do it? Like in this picture:

Can't see the 2nd image. Those tukang besi should be cheaper than rm1300. Dont expect it to look nice. Then again, how beautiful the rack is has no impack on your training. How steady can the tukang besi make it? Cannot guarentee

If considering the DIY route.

Try lumber it's cheaper and easier work with when compared to steel... also dont need so much specialised tools. A wood saw, hammer and an auger.

Found this on the internet...

edit: search buffdudes channel on youtube for a build video. I'll post a link when I can find it.

If you are sure you will use it for a long time, a better power rack is worth to invest in long run for safety purpose. Yes you can DIY and save some money but who can assure you don't screw anything wrong.

Back to ori question, I prefer the second type rack. The first semi cage safety bar is kinda short, sometimes it just doesn't feel good and you need look at how many steps for walkout during squat.

Must be empty inside and strong enough to hold over hundred kilograms.

FYI, steel is not cheap these days especially those good material. My friend DIY a pair of dumbbells only at RM 3xx.

Better get ready-built from the market. Simple like this will do : http://www.11street.my/productdetail/fitne...-builder-485398 (can bench and squat).

Thx for the info. I'm still looking for weight plates. Cheapest RM10/kg.

Dude the 1st pic is the best squat rack ever. Easy to put the barbell back as holder is long enough. Plus, there is some teeth look alike that you can used for bench press.

BTW, my friend made a DIY squat rack with steel that he though strong enough. Didn't end well. Don't take the risk brah.

Sorry hijack this thread, I planning to buy olympic plates from china in bulk for personal use so there will be a lot of excess because they usually want to sell minimum 500 kg.

Good news - no need to deposit or anything, I pay all first if I mampu la
Bad news - later barang sampai only COD at kuantan or nearby areas, postage I don't know how to post at large weight because I'm not seller

So if any of you interested and really serious, just pm.
