Hi. Ban me if i got this in the wrong section or help me out if u feel like it.

I got a "certain" series of AVI files all related ie. 01,02,03,...09...etc

I have no problem playing the other files besides 02.

When i run it (im using windows media player classic), i get this error

Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system.

I currently have the lastest K-Lite (2.81 and the full one) installed and i tried on Windows Media Player as well as Winamp. All not working.

I also did do a google search and was told to go to Options > Formats > Under Real Media File change the streaming protocol handler to RealMedia incase it was DirectShow. Still it didnt work. Then i was also told to reinstall RealAlternative which I did, but it still doesnt work. Any have the same problems as me?

Anyone want a free lolipop as a reward for helping me?

Note : Threadstarted did not state that he/she will reward a lolipop to anyone, he/she just wants to know if anyone would like a free lolipop as a reward.

Uninstall all the codec packs u have, then install only 1. Either CCCP or K-Lite mega codec pack. i prefer CCCP. Then try media player classic or zoomplayer that's bundled with CCCP. If all else fails, go for VLC cos it plays tons of files without the need of external codecs.

edit: as a sidenote.. VLC wont play real media files, but i doubt that's what u have cos they're rarely contained in .avi files. There's a possibility that the file is corrupt though, cos all the files besides 02 works..

Have you check that AVI using GSpot ? Maybe need to install splitter instead. However I'm not sure which splitter needed.
