Hey guys, I'm here to get some suggestions for a good high output neck pickup. I'm using a Bare Knuckle Miracle Man in the bridge and would like to get something that would go nicely with it. I dont have any specific requests for tone, just looking for neck pickups that would be balanced with the Miracle Man. I will check out reviews and decide then. Also, does Bare Knuckle have any neck pickup?

Hope to get some awesome suggestions from everyone biggrin.gif

Your guitar? Musical preferences? What does the current pickup lacks?

It's a Spear T-200Q and I've only changed the stock bridge pickup to a BKP Miracle Man. I'm still using the stock neck pickup and it is overpowered by the Miracle Man. Its quite a cheap guitar and the stock pickup is too weak.

I play metal and I'm looking for a nice neck pickup for high gain tone. Basically anything that is high enough output to go with the Miracle Man and can complement it well.

So sorry I forgot to include this information!

Yes, my Drop B/C Std guitar is equipped with Alpha & Omega, similar voicings I would say.

If volume balance is the only issue, I would suggest to adjust the pickup height until you get the desired volume before spending on a new pickup

Unfortunately I have set my decision to get a new neck pickup, just that I don't know nice neck pickups that are catered to my style/preference of music.

I have already adjusted to the optimal pickup height to get the best tone and balance in the meantime, but volume balance isn't the only issue.

Tone, clarity, sustain and quality are also the reasons why I am looking to get a new neck pickup.

Anyway, I appreciate your reply and suggestion biggrin.gif

If you playing overdrive/tube screamer with your main distort pedal, try checkout old emg81.

Used to jam out loud with it along with ts and metal muff. Nice creamy voice when metal muff on boost mode. Same goes to Tesla nitro/plasma, it's suit my playing really well whenever need to rocking on neck pickup with clear sound, good sustain and not muddy smile.gif

Have Tesla VR60 classic too but couldnt comment much coz nvr bring it to jam to crank at max volume lol

For passive pickup nothing could go wrong with Seymour Duncan smile.gif

Active pickup not that bad la sooo regret when selling my pickup+guitar heheh, amateur like me at first just wanna eliminate stupid noise/hum but later on enjoy their consistent performance and their gadget. Good for home recording with cheap stuff, no more problem from noise interference with others home appliances.

Tone-wise also not bad for rock/hardrock anyway i'm setting a new guitar too maybe gonna put emg 57/66 tongue.gif
