Bayern v City would be an even better script but I'll settle for Abu Dhabi v Qatar.English Clubs Chelsea FC - The Shed V40, EFL Cup - Chelsea 3 - 2 Bristol Rovers

QUOTE(briantwj @ Mar 18 2016, 11:43 PM) Bayern vs City in final lagi nice. The earlier City gets knocked out the better it is for Pep. The further Pellegrini takes them the more pressure it is on Pep to replicate it.Will Pep win the CL in his final season in Bayern? Or Pep bagi chance for his future team? |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Mar 19 2016, 09:27 AM) How about bayern vs city in final and in the same time city not top 4 in PL. Pep have to decide whether win and no CL next year or lose and play CL next year. Its all part of pellegrini plans. Mind blowing plan I say knock them out! Then he can do what BVB are doing this season in the Europa League - domination! Easier trophy to win in his first season than the CL. |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Mar 20 2016, 12:50 AM) So what if you think he should have started the game. You asked why he was brought on? And he showed it. Whether or not he starts the game has no impact on the decision to sub him in which has paid off. By your logic if a player who should have started the game but did not, should not even be considered to bring on even when the manager for whatever reason realized his mistakes and tries to rectify it albeit late. Heard of better late than never? |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Mar 20 2016, 01:03 AM) Like I said don't get your panties in a twist. It's all good if you're a fan of the old and outdated school of late subs for players who were useless for 99% of the game. But I'm not. No like I said. Decision to bring him on as a sub has no relevance to the decision to not start him. Completely different cases here. I'm not disagreeing with you that he should have started the game instead of Oscar. You questioned the decision/point of bringing him on yet it was immediately justified. The criticism should not have been "what's the point of bringing him on" because the point is to rectify the mistake you just mentioned, that he should have started but it doesn't mean the substitution is wrong, just that the mistake of not starting him shouldn't have been made in the first place.'better late than never' in your opinion. All I see is a coach who's afraid to take risks in what's left of a season with NOTHING to fight for. RLC should've started or at least oscar should've been nowhere near the squad. Undeserved favoritism for players such as ivanovic, matic, etc is what got us to this position in the first place so yes I'm not a fan of players being in the first 11 based on reputation alone. Go enjoy whatever team you're supporting mate. Why stress yourself reading a thread of mostly frustrated fans this season? Note that I'm in complete agreement that Oscar is overrated and shouldn't have started. A "lazy" Mata would still have been more productive than Oscar's overall output. Remember there was a time people thought Oscar>Coutinho? This post has been edited by Cloud0890: Mar 20 2016, 01:19 AM |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Mar 30 2016, 12:02 PM) 3 5 2 only workable in italian league or international so far... Both Martinez and Rodgers have used it with some degree of success but only in short stints. Martinez's was when he saved Wigan from relegation in the final run in of the season quite a few seasons back. Rodgers' was when Liverpool had quite a streak mid season after switching to it due to early season struggles.Lvg try hard to bring it to man utd but failed hard... Hope co te know what he gets himself into... Epl is very tough and the difference between top and lower team is quite thin... No one has yet to use it full/long term and has had success with it in England. But that maybe due to a lack of sample size since it is not popular with managers in England and probably not something English players are used to playing in. |

QUOTE(yokoloco @ Apr 15 2016, 10:37 AM) if the stars in the universe somehow aligned and JM goes to Arsenal, i think he sure sell 8 of their starting 11, keep cech, sanchez and ozil only Nope. How about keeping the exact same squad and going on to win the league out of spite for Wenger because why not? |

QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 2 2016, 10:57 AM) Yup can confirm. Spurs will be at 70pts with a draw with Leicester at 77pts and 2 games remaining. This is a must win game for Spurs.Oh and please don't be a party pooper like United. The world wants to see Leicester lift the title and they decided to spoil the party. Then again it would be pretty anti-climactic for Leicester to be confirmed champions away from the pitch. I want to see their emotions after them winning the game on the pitch and celebrating with their fans at their home stadium next week. |

Chelsea sitting in midtable somehow played a deciding role in both the title race and relegation battle.

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ May 11 2016, 10:56 AM) If mou go to united, will he change the way he deploy his team? United fans sick of lvg brand of football. Which is boring football, mou style is boring x2. Can they accept mou style? They already want him in. Clearly winning is more important to them than anything. All those talks of stylistic points by playing the Utd way is BS. Bunch of glory hunters just wants to get back ahead of the pack to regain their bragging right. |

QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 11 2016, 11:51 AM) i got a feeling too. maybe cause news want him out since his 1st year until now still standing. and got 1 year on his contract. if they want kick him out, should have already done so. Well, remember Moyes? Not sacked until mathematically impossible to achieve top 4. I think they waiting to see if he can deliver it plus the FA cup. |
