QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 12 2016, 12:18 AM) Chelsea Football Club can confirm we have mutually agreed with adidas to end our longstanding partnership at the end of the 2016/17 season. Highly likely Under Armour?? They're slowly building up their brand name in football/soccer.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ://http://www.chelseafc.com/news/lates...-SPOILER DIV--> |

Begovic palming a fairly straightforward cross directly into benteke's chest just typifies a season of stupid mistakes for us. Such disgraceful keeping, especially after eden's wonderful individual effort.
Our makeshift back four were doing superb against an in form liverpool side, until begovic decided to be the main higlight of our defense. Sheesh. Even mikel and baba were having a good game for heaven's sake! Tammy abraham and pedro both had clear chances to put the game to bed which weren't taken. But kudos to guus for giving traore, kenedy and abraham good game time,I'm sure they enjoyed themselves immensely. That's probably the biggest positive of the match, apart from eden rediscovering his 'true' form |

QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 12 2016, 12:18 AM) Chelsea Football Club can confirm we have mutually agreed with adidas to end our longstanding partnership at the end of the 2016/17 season. Any reason that they didn't renew? So weird.....Having begun our relationship in 2006, we would like to thank adidas for their fantastic support and cooperation over the past 10 years. In that time the club has lifted the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, two Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups, and we look forward to a successful final year of partnership. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/...A_TW_ENG_ADIDAS |

QUOTE(damnself @ May 13 2016, 05:30 PM) The deal was canceled, not renewed.Clubs typically gets between 10-15% from shirt sales. Chelsea gets around 35 million while Adidas get the rest. Chelsea clearly think they can get a better deal, even with the 50mill penalty for Adidas. Also I read that Adidas want to consolidate their sponsorship to one club per league. They might want to concentrate on MU only. |

QUOTE(damnself @ May 13 2016, 02:30 PM) Cut off early by 6 years. Next season last season with adidas. Says 'mutually agreed' so no penalty maybe? Hope we strike a better deal too. Going to need the extra income with how shit the squad has become and incoming stadium rebuild |

Conte better start early pre-season planning, transfer in and out, sort out the current team players. Cant afford give the current players holiday or time off so much, later their performance drop in first few matches

QUOTE(yokoloco @ May 13 2016, 05:49 PM) Cut off early by 6 years. Next season last season with adidas. I believe there is a penalty to the tune of 50mill. But since Chelsea sold 3rd highest number of shirts (after Barca and Bayern), Chelsea may think they have quite a bargaining power. Personally, I think shirt sale will drop badly this coming season because we got to 9th placing and no europe. Also I hardly think anyone wants a 50 quid pyjama.Says 'mutually agreed' so no penalty maybe? Hope we strike a better deal too.
