No creativity in midfield. A waste of space deploying two defensive minded midfield.

A bore first half with literally no shot on target.

Too negative IMO. Two defensive midfield with 4 defender is too much. Oscar not good enough as our no 10. I rather play 2 strikers than playing Oscar.

fabregas motm. doing more in 15mins compare to oscar, pedro, and matic combine.

kante look more confident after matic subbed out. clash of role with matic perhaps.

costa lucky to stay on the pitch after that desperate dive. good finishing with the goal.

ship iva out already. cant defend, crosses like liga super players. always go forward and expose right side to opponent.

mitchy with neat poacher goal. should hv score second late in the game.

hazard trying hard. good to see him doing all the dribbles.

totally agree on the bolded point. if you notice, there were several instances in the game that both players is actually overlapping each other. at times, they went to challenge for the same ball.

cant really brain on why conte opt for two DM (with matic adopt more advance role) when we got 4 players at the back. hopefully fab start next match. and batshuayi start ahead of oscar.

He got that right for 2nd and 3rd quote. Anyway glad we win. I though we lose dy b4 sub in fab and opt to 2 striker. Good sub i must say. I think the reason oscar>fab in the squad coz fab slower than oscar and watford gameplay too pacy. But the irony is we still used old slow guard laugh.gif. I hope zouma will make a come back asap. Btw that assist from fab remind me of lampart assist torrest vs barca kast time. Real beauty

Luckly 1 good news and 1 not so good. I really want lcw win gold. Looks like impossible aldy since next olympic he will be too old.

Lampard assist Torres vs barca which game o? Last night game desperately scream for fab vision and creativity. I thought it was too late when conte opt for moses instead of fab. Manatau fabulous the magician can do it in 10mins. Lol.

thats because our defense team was crap, hence 2 DM to cover the whole 4.

1 dm should be enough. Kante and matic role overlap through out the match which is really a waste. Once matic out, kante become more efficient.

Chelsea to hold talks with Euro club over £25m midfielder signing today - reports in Italy

CHELSEA will reportedly hold talks with Inter Milan over the transfer of Marcelo Brozovic.

By LIAM SPENCE
PUBLISHED: 11:39, Thu, Aug 25, 2016 | UPDATED: 12:00, Thu, Aug 25, 2016

It is claimed Conte has earmarked the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who could be on his way out.

Inter apparently want around £25million for the Croatia international and will look to invest this money into securing a deal for Joao Mario from Sporting Lisbon.

The report adds discussions between the two clubs are due to start today.

Brozovic currently earns just £18,000-a-week at Inter, making him one of the lowest-paid first-team regulars at the club, which could give Chelsea the edge going into negotiations.

Brozovic made 34 appearances for Inter last season and scored eight goals.

Chelsea Transfer News: £25m midfielder talks today, Remy to West Ham, winger scouted

EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Chelsea transfer news.

Chelsea will reportedly hold talks with Inter Milan over the transfer of Marcelo Brozovic.

That is according to Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport, who claim Conte has made Brozovic his priority target as he looks to bolster his ranks before the transfer window closes.

It is said Conte has earmarked the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who could be on his way out.

Inter apparently want around £25million for the Croatia international and will look to invest this money into securing a deal for Joao Mario from Sporting Lisbon.

The report adds discussions between the two clubs are due to start today.

Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with West Ham over a move for Loic Remy.

The Hammers have been on the lookout for a new striker all summer, and with injuries to Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll manager Slaven Bilic is desperate to bolster his attacking ranks.

Bilic has declared his interest in Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, but Sky Sports claim talks to bring Remy to the London Stadium on loan have begun.

However, it is suggested the Blues want to offload the Frenchman on a permanent basis.

Chelsea in contract talks with striker: His demands had put club off, but deal now back on
CHELSEA have reopened talks with Dominic Solanke over a new contract.

By Rhys Turrell / Published 25th August 2016

The young striker has been in a standoff with the club.

Blues bosses were said to be in shock at the young striker’s sky-high wage demands.

Solanke reportedly wanted £50,000-a-week, despite only playing one senior game for the club.

He also wanted guarantees over a chance of playing in the first-team, citing Harry Kane’s rise to fame at Tottenham as an example of what he could be capable of.

The Guardian report Chelsea are now putting Solanke’s contract talks back on the table.

The 18-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and Chelsea want his future sorted now.

Solanke could head out on loan, but the Blues won’t let him go until he signs a new long-term deal.

The England Under-21 international spent last season at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem and could head there again - if his situation is resolved before the end of the transfer window next week.

Replace fab for some average low wage midfielder. Dunno if we want to fight for title or fight with arsenal in finance league. Lol.

Might as well sell Oscar, pedro, hazard, Costa, tibo and all who earn more than 50k. Maybe can sack terry while we're at it. Wage cap at 50k per week sound pretty damn good.
