Yeah lo. I read about that too. Went and tried my luck last night with 220 keys auto farm at 8-20.
Wake up this morning and the best thing I get is a 4* Ruri only.

I farmed like 200 keys on 8-15, all i got were hamsters and cats ...
Then lazy, go level 30 fodders at 8-1 few rounds and poof, 4* Lina

Man ... my arena rank dropped from 3.4k to 3.2k =.=

Weekly reward gone 10 rubies T___T

I have no idea how to participate in current arena meta now ..

I have:

Black Rose 36+5 weapon unlocked
Jave 40+5 Gold frame
Spike 30+5 no unlock
Lubu 30+5 Gold frame
GY 40+5 Gold frame
Eileen 30+5 Gold frame
Ace 30+5 armor unlocked
Evan 40+0 no unlock

But regardless on which ever combine, my GY always cannot tahan enemies back line hit =.=
He's a defensive with 6.9K HP and 1k def, but still die in 1 shot sometime =.=

My Evan always last man stand eventhough he doesn't get unlock and no +5

Previously I was using lubu back with spike dellon ming2 and guanyu can get 3.4k above.

Now a bit difficult so I change guanyu to Yu shin. Testing this now.

I think most probably my build aren't for speed ...

My GY both lethal, but he always cast Void shield first
My Lubu both Cric
My Jave both Cric
My Black rose both Speed <--- still she cast later than others =.= RNG !!
My Spike no weapon <--- don't want his freeze =.=
My Ace 1x Cric
My Evan 1x Speed

just go full dmg, with 40 jave and lubu 3.6k should be easy reach.

lubu back, br ace eileen jave front and more speed if u can afford (preferable front line all 2x speed). if ur lubu not hitting hard enuff then 40 jave back but without kris dunno ur jave can outlast enemy lubu or not.

i am 4k with 40 jave 30 eileen 34 ace 30 kris 40 br

But my Eileen (I cant 32 her due to lack of dark element) and ACE really squishy >.<

formation 1-4 jave back, i edited my comment above do read. Turtle meta died when ace revamp came out, now is all about hit or miss, and higher speed mean u skill first = higher chances of win. With ur hero easily 3.6K i think just need to itemize correctly, ur lubu 2x counter and should have highest counter rate in the team, br can go counter too but not higher than lubu. front line all 2x speed, back line can go 2x crit. I would recommend lubu back coz u dont have a kris to keep jave alive.

Arena seems to be broken and all pray to RNG god...

Aint training any units atm but will continue to transcend Lords & 7k Hero

Arena now like PMS .. suka suka this week lets you break through easily.. Suka suka next week makes u work like hell..

My rubies are decreasing everyday, lol!

to farm 200 ruby cap need to buy key, that one no need count ? ini maths fail or pakai hack ?

4 star Sylvia and 4 star monster Minotaur like i forgot its name

I use the guild check in 30-40 keys , honor point around 50 keys / day? , 2 hours recharge keys (I'm level 58 so i have 12 keys per 2 hours)
Daily event reward.

And whenever i capped my rubies, i will use the rest of the keys to train left over fodders to level 27~29 so next day i only need 1 key to max them

If you plan good, there is no need to purchase key and 7-9 really no casualty 99.9%
