I have just purchased a new lens 16-35 F4 L. Very good and sharp lens.Got them for a bargain on 11street with some vouchers and coupons. Lens with official canon warranty, and the seller is from miyamondo with fast delivery.

Can this be used for non-FF? I'm using a 70D.

hard to say, unless the specs is way better than a7iii and that all old EF lenses can be used, else canon going obsolete pretty soon

No la. I thinking to get a third party tele lens from Tamron. But I havent have a free cash coz locking it in FD and other investment.
If it's worth, then I might consider it. Haha. Still no idea how much SST will be implemented.

Guys, I kinda confuse which lens should I choose.

https://www.dxomark.com/Lenses/Compare/Side...80_895_1212_895

Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC or Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM

Both are within my budget and compare the photos I can't tell also which are better which is not right to judge from there.
Anyone using any of these two lens? Can share your experience??

Personally I’d go with the canon
- it’s slightly wider
- I had an older tamron 70-300 and it was the worst lens I’ve had ever used. The VC USD version will be better no doubt, but I have my reservations against tamron cheap zoom tele lens. Especially on the tele side.
*
Actually I have wider lens already. I just want tele. OMG. Tamron 1 so lousy ah. Why? Is the same version I mentioned?

Go for Canon, STM is the best autofocus system for budget lenses.

Personally im quite skeptical with tamron these days due to their BS customer service.

I have a tamron 1750 2.8F. Never have problem so din go Customer service before. Mind to share what happen?

I used to have the tamron 70-300 VC version, and 55-250 IS (first version). the tamron 70-300 VC is defo better than the 55-250 IS. I used the tamron 70-300VC paired with 40D to get pretty good motorsports photo. not too sure how good is the stm 55-250 tho.

All tamron so lowly rated ah. Ouch. I see the DXO show like quote good. Hmm. Make me think twice now.

Yeah you may have a wider lens.
But having the option to go slightly wider without changing lens can be a good thing.
I was referring to another 70-300 Tamron model.

I would recommend you head to a shop to test it out.
Remember to test the wide and Tele side. Minimum working distance and at infinity.

Performance at diff situation would be different.

Hmm...never thought of testing minimum working distance.

Anything can advise me what should I try when testing out at shop?

I dont expect to have natural light at shop so all are indoors.
