Anyone want to try guess what camera is this taken with?

The R5 is already available to several countries and can see many unboxing videos on youtube since 31st July.
So far, Australia, US, Japan, Hong Kong. |

QUOTE(engseng @ Jul 31 2020, 04:32 PM) Multiple outlets with inside information are reporting that Canon is holding back and/or delaying shipments of the new EOS R5 and EOS R6 cameras as a result of the overheating issues that early reviews have been reporting. This could be a sign that a recall is in the works. I guess the 7S3 gave them tons of pressure. 4k120 with sound, and 4k60 which doesn't overheats. |

Tested out the R5 and R6 today.
First impressions are, great AF in low light condition, very fast and accurate SERVO, dual sim card, very good IBIS, feels better in the hands compared to EOS R, and the shutter sound is softer and more buttery (not in my favor as I prefer loud and rough shutter sound). Both cameras feel literally the same, the only difference physically is the top panel, R5 with screen, and R6 with the mode dial. The rep also said R5 is fully magnesium alloy inside out, whereas R6 only magnesium alloy on the top panel, the rests of the body is polycarbonate (plastic). Either R5 or R6, to me, I think it's worth the upgrade from EOS R if you're doing photography. For superior AF system, dual simcard, IBIS, joystick, wheel dial, 12fps, ISO performance, Dynamic range (rep said its better than EOS R). |

QUOTE(engseng @ Aug 9 2020, 03:59 PM) There will never be any overheating issue for photography. For video side, I am unsure, I never recorded any video with dslr / mirrorless in my life before. But I asked the rep, he said if 8k, will have overheating warning after 20 minutes. But if record anything like full hd or 4k normal mode, no issue. QUOTE(Snoopycute98 @ Aug 9 2020, 04:17 PM) Yes |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I've gotta say those lenses look like they were built with this body in mind instead of the R and RP. Planning to get the RF 85mm F2? since you're primarily a portrait photographer. I read the MFD is seriously good |

QUOTE(Michaelbyz23 @ Aug 10 2020, 10:54 AM) Likewise, I am also thinking to get the RF85mm f2 with macro capabilities similar to that of rf35mm. Let's see what's the price going to be like one they announce. Especially if you're going for those kind of modeling shots you posted with the pearl tears with deep depth of field. Beautiful shots!I use ef85mm about 70% of the time when Im shooting portrait in studio. |

So, we shall wait for the RF85mm and see how's the result and price going to be like, if everything good then I will sell my EF version. IF you like bokeh, maybe can look at the Samyang version, 1.4 |
