Anyone got this problem with their 50mm f1.4?
Sometimes when it try to focus, the focusing ring moved as well.

Fml tbh the features are even better than m5 in some places, minus the single control wheel. and also it has evf while m6 doesnt have. QUOTE(Axelredan @ Apr 4 2018, 05:21 AM) Yup you do I believe. I heard however the dual pixel focus doesnt work on 4k (24fps). Only phase detection QUOTE(tachlio @ Apr 4 2018, 04:03 PM) Wow, seen like Canon listen to customer. the 4k is still quite "cacat" with the heavy crop (11mm became 28mm in 4k), and how canon disabled the dual pixel autofocus for 4k.- 4k - LCD tilt to side instead of top or bottom which block external min/tripod canon_eos_m_series_comparison_chart.pdf ( 1.32mb ) Number of downloads: 14 |

QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Apr 4 2018, 04:44 PM) should be, if it doesnt then its quite disappointing. Yeap my main features looking at was it should perform the same AF even after using adapter tats my main concern, the 4k is fine for me personally coz nt so into video side bt it seems pretty much fulfil my needs at this price point, I knw out there got M43 fr Oly and Pana does better and Sony or Fuji but at this mid level range manufacturer are getting more into high end or premium segment which I see every release cycle is so pricy for me as an enthusiast off course it features fully packed into high end model which justify it's price point so looking forward to get M50 if everything goes according to my plan haha.the 4k is still quite "cacat" with the heavy crop (11mm became 28mm in 4k), and how canon disabled the dual pixel autofocus for 4k. |

Hey everyone, EOS M3 owner here.
Long story short, I've been eyeing for a mirrorless since last year when I started working. I was just in luck when my friend won this camera in a lucky draw, and I managed to convince him to sell me for cheap Just sharing a photo from my Jakarta trip last long weekend f/3.5; shutter 1/60 Used the kit lens (15-45mm) I am looking to get another lens, preferably prime. I am new to photography and am still trying various types of photography, but most probably I'll use it for food (I love eating and also cooking, and also planning to write a food blog) and/or portraits (I enjoy inviting people to eat ). Any recommendations? Also I am learning Lightroom (via YouTube videos for now). Any recommended tutorials for Lightroom? I am still quite lost inside the application. Any help appreciated! |

With a budget of ~RM3k-4k what USED body should I go for ? Video isn't a big thing for me but would be nice to be able to have the feature once in awhile to experiment with.
Currently looking at 5dmk2 (with Magic Lantern) , saw a few units for RM2.5k-3.2k ... or would newer cams like 750D / 70D be a better choice ? Not too fussed if it's full frame or crop but high ISO usability would be a real plus. In storage I have : 1Dmk2 (bad ISO, cumbersome charging) Canon M3 (way too slow and unwieldy with my lenses) Will be using the "new" body as main camera.
