I did, I wash it yesterday night, but I realized in the morning (after 8 hours), the speaker become abnormal and sound 'koyak', so I thought it was due to the bad version, planning to restore my Note 5 and send this S7E to Samsung, after a while of observation and diagnose externally, play some music and test the equalizer, the sound back to normal after it was fully dry up. Panic no more...
It's funny though. The Sony Xperia Z-series phones didn't seem to have this issue. Seems that the waterproofing membrane for the speakers which Samsung used for S7 and S7 edge cannot repel the water properly.
Due to this, some reviews and tests online (IIANM, by CNET) even claimed the speakers got permanent damage after water submersion, which is not the true case (they just need to leave it for another 12 hours to dry up.

)

I let tap water to run on the phone coz I was charging and using the phone so it was quite warm and I need to put the phone in my pocket so I need it to be a little more cooler. That was on Saturday.
So far so good.
Oh wait, anyone experiencing problems with network? I'm using maxis and somehow I have difficulties to get data connected and even problem with receiving calls. All I got was an sms informing me I had missed calls.
Wifi and Bluetooth and sms was ok though. Btw I faced that problem just quite recently.
Probably Maxis network issue? Or try to take out your sim card, wipe down properly, and put back. Maybe dirty contacts on the sim card.

Huh? Clear coat and a case?
That case is a Samsung Clear View case right
Nope, not Clear View. Using Samsung Clear Cover. They both look more or less the same I think. One with flip, one without flip.
It's a bit tight when putting on the Clear Cover because of the Clear Coat near-full body protection, but can be done though.
