Looks nice. Im quite torn between this, the tech21 evo frame and the samsung flip case. want something slim, light and can protect sufficiently.

on another note, can anyone suggest a good place to get a screen protector today? I dont want tempered glass as the ones I tried on my S6 Edge was terrible...the optical clarity reduced significantly and it doesnt stick to the screen well - touch sensitivity reduces. I used the self healing films similar to clearcoat but over time, I found that it becomes yellow and ugly.

bought a clear SP at Mid Valley for RM50. From my experience with my previous S6 Edge, I will never use a self-healing film or a tempered glass anymore, at least on a curved screen.

Self-healing film - the texture is similar to a car window sticker (those club memberships etc). It isnt smooth to use glide or swipe your fingers on. I find it quite annoying. Also, its very hard to get them to stick properly. Most come off very easily. What annoys me most is that it turns yellow after few months/weeks of usage. In addition, some shops are selling them at ridiculous prices - saw one selling at RM 169.

Tempered glass - If this was a flat screen phone, then I will use a good quality tempered glass. The problem with the tempered glass sold right now is that its is mainly or only made of plastic and not actual glass. Optical clarity is bad and the curved ones cover the entire screen. On my old S6 Edge, I had my proximity and light sensor didnt work well. In addition, my front camera was very blur. These units also do not have any adhesive but rather double sided tapes on the top and bottom parts (where there it is coloured). As a result, touch sensitivity is poor.

totally agreed with u.. at first i bought samsung original SP at during my PO unit. but the quality is horrible, it immediately peeled off at the edges screen, complain to their manager about the defective products and they decided to waive off the charges, Due to wasting my time almost an hours there, they compensate me with cooleye tempered glass SP for free. but i peeled off the tempered glass SP due to uglyness and horrible quality.
in the end decided use naked. ranting.gif

Ringke no good?go for spigen
*
its a little thin for my liking. thinking of using the tech21 evo frame. think spigen is a little overpriced. has a good brand name for sure.
