For those who used the dual sim and wanted to have dual whatsapp without root or 3rd party apps, can try below and it works for me

- go to samsung galaxy app store
- Search for 'My Knox', download and install it
- Setup one gmail account inside
- Setup Knox Password & choose unlock using FingerPrint
- Add Whatsapp into My Knox
- 'My Knox' shortcut will appear in your home screen now, click on it then hold on the whatsapp icon and pull it out to your home screen
- Whatsapp icon for my knox should have a extra key logo at top right/bottom right corner
- Click on 'My Knox' at your home screen then go to setting and setup to enable nortification
- Setup Whatsapp for My Knox
- Done! Next time just need to scan your fingerprint to open whatsapp in my knox

So far the whatsapp in MyKnox is hving full feature including message and media backup, the only downside is that you unable to access whatsapp folder. Nortification LED seems does not work in My Knox also but lock screen & sound is still working.

Both slot support 4G, but only one can choose to connect data, there is option u can switch between Sim 1 and 2.

Just backup your whatsapp chat history to google drive, in your new phone when you activate your same number it will auto restore your chat history + media from google drive if you backup before.
