QUOTE(wilsonyong8850 @ Mar 18 2016, 04:40 PM) How do we do the multi window for opening two app together in 1 screen? Accidentally open the function, so happy with it, open forum and YouTube, last night close d then forgot how to open like this. Anyone can help? Either press the button on the left that brings up all your running apps, then click on the multi-window beside the button that closes that app (only apps that can be multi-tasked will have it) OR hold that aforementioned left button. That will put 1 app on the top, then swipe left/right on the bottom to choose the bottom app. Don't think you can choose two running apps to be opened top and bottom.

QUOTE(Vape On @ Mar 18 2016, 11:45 PM) Galaxy a8? Bigger. Cheaper. I second this suggestion. Samsung's non-flagship range is pretty solid too.

QUOTE(alvin ong @ Mar 19 2016, 01:43 PM) Just found out there's an option in settings to turn on assistive touch. Go to settings, search for assistant menu. Why do you need assistive touch?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 19 2016, 02:13 PM) Unlike iphone button, the Samsung button is VERY ROBUST and rarely you heard of it fail unlike iphones Wasn't it only the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S that had such issues? Or did every iPhone user after that exclusively use assistive touch and hence that's why I haven't heard of recent home button failures? I'm one of those people that get annoyed when my friend uses assistive touch. What's the point of protecting a button you're never gonna use anyway?

Guys, any recommendations for games? I don't like Gameloft stuff, Clash of Clans, Candy Crush etc. I enjoy The Room (completed all three on my iPad), GTA, etc. Might get Leo's Fortune if it ever goes on sale or something like Monument Valley.

Almost 9 hours since my last charge now 34% battery left. Only about 2.5 hours screen-on-time. Seems quite fast eh. Maybe I should turn off some stuff?

QUOTE(rahuldave @ Mar 20 2016, 08:54 AM) Thanks for sharing your experience. There are quite a number of 3rd party or china made VR being sold. Do you think it would be a good buy instead of getting a Samsung Gear VR? Just wanna know your opinion I haven't used any of them but judging from what I've read, those china VR headsets are essentially a glorified cardboard headset. You have to plug in your phone for Gear VR, which I believe improves motion tracking? Cardboard or other cheap headsets rely on the motion tracking of the phone itself. I'm now scouting the market for people selling their Gear VR

I'm guessing the secret to uber long screen-on time is turning off location services? Mine seems to drain pretty quick and I don't really have any 3rd party tools.

QUOTE(Vape On @ Mar 20 2016, 09:23 AM) Or perhaps you can compare with all the reviews. Dxo voted it as the best smartphone camera to date. Pretty sure they tested it thoroughly. Never ever switch on location service unless you open waze. But there are so many things that use location services! Like google tracking where you are, pinning your parking spot or what not or knowing that you're at home and suggesting that you can turn off security measures when they know you're at home. Also there's photo location tagging, which is quite nice. Idk man, I never turn off my location services when using my windows phone and it could last for 2 days. Guess I'll just have to live with it and charge more ...

QUOTE(faiyahoo @ Mar 20 2016, 09:58 AM) connecting my mi band Lol.. But you don't have to leave it on right? It stores the data then you can just turn on bluetooth to sync the data collected? Not that I'm saying bluetooth takes up a lot of battery, just want to make sure I understand how the mi band works haha

QUOTE(cedriclee @ Mar 20 2016, 05:07 PM) Will off the Wifi tonight and try again tonight. Really hope to see improvement as most users here said that S7 Edge have excellent battery life. Without always-on display, my phone went from 41% to 38% overnight. WiFi was on.

QUOTE(rahuldave @ Mar 21 2016, 01:13 PM) Thanks guys for your kind review and opinions on the gear VR. Really appreciate that. Now I know that the Samsung Gear VR would be much better compared to those China made VR at least. But since the new Samsung Gear VR is about to release with 4K support, i'm now confused whether to purchase it at RM 459.00 or wait for the new one as I assume that new one would cost much higher. Anyone has purchased the S7 Wireless Fast Charger? Saw that gemfive is selling the charger (Samsung Wireless Charger EP-PG920 For [Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge / Note 5] ) at RM 135.00. Is it the same model that S7 edge uses and any cheaper stores? Can you link me to some write-up of the newer Gear VR? Isn't it dependent on the phone's display, rather than the headset itself?
