QUOTE(takizo @ Mar 19 2016, 01:54 PM) Hey guys, just want to share, read up a bit and using Dark theme could save battery, due to Samsung screen pixel display, less bright pixel will not consume much battery. How did you manage to apply that theme while keeping the original stock icons? There a theme called Material Dark, quiet sleek! You can download via Samsung Theme store @ Settings > Theme, search for Material Dark or click on this link http://www.samsung.com/global/themestore/i...rk&SITE_CODE=my [attachmentid=6200164] [attachmentid=6200170] [attachmentid=6200171] |

Sometimes I wonder how can such a simple basketball shooting game be so choppy on a flagship android phone.
When compared to my old iPhone 6, the animation on the iPhone is silky smooth. I've tried turning on the force gpu rendering in developer settings but the problem still persists. Any comments or solutions to this problem? This post has been edited by alvin ong: Mar 19 2016, 10:17 PM |

QUOTE(n20nine @ Mar 20 2016, 12:43 PM) bought a clear SP at Mid Valley for RM50. From my experience with my previous S6 Edge, I will never use a self-healing film or a tempered glass anymore, at least on a curved screen. is it a regular screen protector? Self-healing film - the texture is similar to a car window sticker (those club memberships etc). It isnt smooth to use glide or swipe your fingers on. I find it quite annoying. Also, its very hard to get them to stick properly. Most come off very easily. What annoys me most is that it turns yellow after few months/weeks of usage. In addition, some shops are selling them at ridiculous prices - saw one selling at RM 169. Tempered glass - If this was a flat screen phone, then I will use a good quality tempered glass. The problem with the tempered glass sold right now is that its is mainly or only made of plastic and not actual glass. Optical clarity is bad and the curved ones cover the entire screen. On my old S6 Edge, I had my proximity and light sensor didnt work well. In addition, my front camera was very blur. These units also do not have any adhesive but rather double sided tapes on the top and bottom parts (where there it is coloured). As a result, touch sensitivity is poor. does it cover the entire screen? mind sharing the shop name with us? |

QUOTE(Hamsom @ Mar 21 2016, 10:20 AM) On note 2, OTG to ext HDD not possible because wasn't enough power to power the HDD. Did some googling, it says for S7e It is possible now for a certain HDD. Anybody tried or know which HDD are these? The hard disk runs and it detects the hard disk. But it can't read ntfs format. You'll have to format to fat. |
