The Samsung Keyboard comes with swiping feature. No need for a third party app.

I prefer Swiftkey.

You do need root for Flux. Unless you are speaking of Cf Lumen.

Does it wrap around and cover whole phone? for iphone 5s cos its squarish they put different ones on sides back and front but that causes gaps and dirt to stuck in between

The prediction engine of Swiftkey is better. More of a personal preference.
