So last night and early this morning I receive two emails from (purportedly) Apple, saying my Apple/iTunes account has been frozen and I need to validate and update my data to reactivate my account. With my curiosity piqued, I click on the link provided in the email...
...which took me to this suspicious looking webpage with a very suspicious URL. Just wanted to find out what would happen next, I fill in a fake email address and fake password...
It then brought me to the next page. So I proceeded with more imaginary details. (Note the birth date. I just wanted to see what would happen next.)
Which then takes me to this page where I am supposed to provide my credit card details.
So anyway, just wanted to share this bit of info to all of you. It's probably very plain for all to see that this is in all probability a phishing webpage. My alarm bells were all ringing very loudly when I saw the URL
