I think EcoHill Walk should be 200,000 sqft of built up land area and 4 levels of retail area bringing it up to a total of 800,000 sq ft of retail space. Then only it would be considered a decent sized shopping mall.

Aiyah, Ecohill Walk is a walk?

Aiyah, should have been a 200,000 sqft built up area 4 level (800,000 sqft retail space) shopping mall instead of a shopping walk.

Aiyah, Anotherwards it should have been a covered air-conditioned SHOPPING MALL instead of a SHOPPING WALK.

However, I hope it has cinema/cineplexes, video game arcade/family amusement centre on the topmost floor and lifestyle shops all the way from bottom to top of the mall.

Eh, I taught initially much earlier it was planned that all 3 townships, Ecohill, Eco Majestic and Ecohill 2 will have their own individual link to LEKAS highway.

That means 3 links not 1!

What happened to that plan?

Aiyah, with only 1 link that means there will be traffic jam in future when full occupancy and especially when the commies are up and running.

You can head down to Semenyih Sentral in Semenyih Town to get to more Chinese restaurants. There are I think about 10 chinese restaurants there. Maybe more. There is also a Thai one coming up. Just key in "Semenyih Sentral" in your GPS or Waze and it will take you there.

Semenyih Sentral is the newer shop office area in Semenyih town. They have your typical run of the mill kopitiam as well as nicely decorated ones. Some are air conditioned, some are not. Their operating hours vary.

All are within 5-10 minutes drive from Ecohill. If there is a jam on the old Semenyih road, you can use the back way to Semenyih Sentral by turning into the single lane road at the bottom on the left corner at the flyover at the Ecohill link assuming you are coming from Ecohill. Go straight and you will see some modern factories on the left and a Proton 3S/4S centre in front of you. Then turn right at the traffic light (do not U-Turn) and go straight down that road (you will see some kampung houses, a tyre centre and housing taman) until you reach another traffic light. Turn right again and go straight down that road and this will lead you to another traffic light and you can see a lot of orange and white shopoffices on the right. That is Semenyih Sentral. The Store big supermarket is also there. Just drive through and explore.

Easiest whether using the front way or back way, just key "Semenyih Sentral" in your GPS or Waze it. It will take you there. For a better understanding use Google Maps sattelite image.

Babizz & HarpArtist> I think you are a bunch of hypocrates. One minute supporting Semenyih, another minute badmouthing Semenyih.

I can see by your posts in the forum "Ammenities in Semenyih".

I dont know who's side you are on but I think you are the same person.

I think the developer should faster-faster build Eco Walk. Semenyih desperately needs some malls especially big mega ones. I hope Eco Walk is air conditioned.

Aiyah if Semenyih no shopping mall, this area very ulu and nothing to do......boring.

Then no one come here, no one buy or rent property here.

Already got people comment Semenyih is a ulu and boring place because no shopping mall, I got hear many people comment last time back in 2007.

Anotherwards this was a god forsaken place last time, the land which time forgot.

Building a shopping mall can woo in owners and tenants to stay here because there are more ammenities. If more world class shopping malls come up in Semenyih especially big megamalls, one does not see the need to go to KL or PJ to shop or lepak.

BTW shopping malls in Semenyih can not only depend on the needs of people in Semenyih but nearby districts as well.

P.S. Tenby International schoool Eco Hill open for classes already.

Any news about Ecohill walk yet?

I see they haven't started construction yet. Previously they were doing a little bit of earth works like clearing off and carting away the sand in trucks but lately I haven't seen that activity from my observation on the site. Has construction started or is still going on? If not when will they start construction?

Has the tenant list been realeased and announced to the public yet? If yes, who are there tenants?

Once complete I hope Ecohill Walk will be one of the more impressive malls in Semenyih by 2020. :-)
