RM160 only takes you 2months to breakeven but you have to wait even longer (6 months?) before you can apply again.

Looks like HLB is running out of budget for promo lately. So quiet.
*
Wait for them to finish tabulating 30% dining cashback promo first. Hopefully 30% groceries & dept store & dining cashback will come again like previous year. Fingers crossed.... laugh.gif

I found that HLB online can pay using JOMpay with credit card
if i use JOMpay to pay my electric bill, will it consider under UTILITIES ?

thank you.

i am using UOBpayonline now, just wan to know if JOMPAY is under which category?
*
Not sure either.

Pay RM5 just to test it. You will know when statement comes. Then update us on the outcome. tongue.gif rclxms.gif

It's interesting to see the argument about using point first or using cash first. That's totally no difference at all in value term except for time value of money which you use up your points first and put your RMxx amount of petrol money into savings account for another 1 day or couple of days, which might earn you nothing to few cents of interest. Cheers. biggrin.gif

Hi guys
my first bill which I thought was entitled for cash back - my Categories are groceries and petrol...but I dont see it in my statement.

Any comments or pointers?
*
Cashback will only be credited into your CC balance on 28th March.

Owh, thank you so much!

Refer to victorywp's post, I think I left out your spending period, in Feb less than 10xRM50? If so, not entitle to cashback for month of Feb. For March, you still have time to fulfill the 10xRM50 criteria to entitle for cashback.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Mar 25 2016, 10:38 AM)
did you managed to fulfill the min requirement >rm50 x 10 times?

i believe this portion I got it right as you see in my statement I count 17x RM50.000 onwards, for Feb for example.
*
Not sure if I get you correctly, you counted in this manner?
HOTEL EQUATORIAL transaction - swiped RM188 (counted as 3x RM50)
GREATEASTERN transaction - swiped RM150 (counted as 3x RM50)

Total 6xRM50 for the above.

The correct way to capture should be:
HOTEL EQUATORIAL transaction - swiped RM188 (counted as 1x minimum RM50 transaction)
GREATEASTERN transaction - swiped RM150 (counted as 1x minimum RM50 transaction)

Only 2x minimum RM50 transaction. You will need 8 more such transactions to qualify for cashback.

Is there any other transactions before 25 Feb?

Anyone experience pump petrol with Wise and ended up transaction date = posting date?

Save to take chance pump on 31 Mar, get posting date in Apr?
*
Mine over too. Plan to pump late tomorrow. Petrol price likely to go up in Apr so better pump tmr.

it is 10% .for insurance agent it is useful though. I heard it is only for LIFE/general insurance recurring but not sure though.
*
10% is a lot!! Consider ok if they really give 10% for insurance. I dont mind signing up for auto debit then.

Please ask your fren to take another shot including remarks column. That would be rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

if you only have one insurance policy, your autodebit only gives you 1 transaction which is above rm50. you still need 9 more to qualify.
*
Definitely. I have more than 1 policy, or should I mention auto debits? lol

Gonna look for cards with petrol rebate.

Yea. I hope not. The next thing to watch will be Online. If they give 10% cashback on Online transaction then it's not bad too.

do take note on the additional interest charge for changing to monthly (instead of yearly) if your policy is not investment-linked type.
*
No worries bro. Investment-linked. I only have one traditional policy that carries annual payment.

You sound a bit sad on the revision. How's it affecting your side?

really canot understand HLB want us to perform 10x rm50 instead once rm500 settle?

what benefit to HLB? i going to spend rm500 anyway..
*
By spending 10x RM50, you already entitle to cashback for your spending of RM500. If there's only 1x RM500, you need to swipe another 9x RM50 in which the total would be RM950 & reaching RM100 cap in terms of cashback.

I see. If your plan is to pay the AF, can consider to keep it first till 2-3 months before the next AF kicks in since you ady paid for it. Well, let's wait for coming Sunday if they really revise.
