Too bad for you. whistling.gif And not all 99SpeedMarts allow, from the first day, it was not allowed in the 99 SpeedMart near my house. They even display it there.
I still have other cards but well if it can retain then it is better.
*
Sorry, I still can use credit card to pay even with the display is there.

bangwall.gif Alamak, got my statement today and Annual Fee + GST already billed (RM169.60).

Hopefully the impending reversal delays or get scrapped altogether
*
Just take is this way : there's never been 10% of cash back to begin with.
From last year I already spend rm985 to get cash back, so 15*12, that's rm180 already, enough to cover the "lost". My AF already billed on the 1st doh.gif

It is quite obvious. What I might do is: Let's say the bill is RM100, pay half of the bill online (hopefully under Online category), and let the other half auto-pay by itself. But I doubt this would work.
*
Why not? You just need to pay 1st half using other card in advance before the bill date and the rest auto debit. From last 3 months my Maxis has been due partially after the cut off date but nothing happens.
But TNB you can't do like this as they will charge penalty. For Maxis I don't worry as most of the time the amount due are always -rm.
Still wait for the actual revision then decide to continue use or just cancel it.

AF is going to be charged in April (dont rmb the exact date).
Plan to hold it >28th April to collect March's CB, then proceed to cancel.

As long as I dont use the card once the AF is charged, I dont have to pay it right?

Will this work?
*
AF is charged on 1st.

AF not reflected on HL Connect as of today
I called HLB CS last month, he told me will b charged on April (I didnt really pay attention to the date as I am rdy to pay for it)
*
The question is, when you applied the card? On April or March?
Mine are applied on March so they charge on this month.

Applied on 2015 April, received on the same month
So I will be expecting AF on the 1st May?
If so, the CS had misled me  rclxub.gif
*
Well, that's normal, is their SOP anyway.
If you still not spend on this card, just cancel it, else just too bad I have to say mega_shok.gif

Any recommendation for CB CC if Wise - Mobile category were removed?
I must pay at kiosk or counter, as I need the receipt. Online payment no receipt.
*
I think only PBB's VS, like Maxis you need to use MaxisPay in order to get receipt(if you need the cash back). Others like Digi or Celcom I not sure.

don't think it's "wise" to blame anyone. just acknowledge the change and wait for the official announcement.
*
Yup, this is what an adult shall do, wait for the official revision before jumping in to conclusion. Blame BNM? Only losers do like this.
When my very first cash back card revised to 1% from 5% I do feel butthurted. But after thinking it back, it just a card's benefits and is subjected to revision as and when a bank feel is needed. So I get another cash back card and 1 year after, it revise again. Then get another cardlor, what is so hard?
Using credit cards is for our needs and convenience, just think that if you need to buy a rm6000 TV, you carry cash and get robbed, so you lost rm6000 direct. But with credit card, you no need to worry on this.
If we are getting credit cards just for the sake of cash back and push our self to get the max cash back by spending more, it is no point also, right?
Like now I'm quite famous in Tesco where the staffs even help me to fill the trolley with cartons of Milo but now my room are full with Milo cartons, all just because I want to get max cash back doh.gif

the staffs help you fill your trolley with cartons of milo but when you pay, you take out 2 packs per time to meet the >rm50 x 10 times requirements? take milo like a boss, pay milo like a slave? lol...
*
Nope, pay in 1 goal.
I know you are trying your very best to insult me, but as John Crawley says : try again, boy rclxs0.gif
And I got 3 cash back cards for groceries, 1 blow still got 2 to go. Better luck next time.

Pending confirmation on the changes to tnc, all my categories are seriously affected. What I can think of is:-

1) Downside: Not easy to meet the RM985 on the dot because if utilities, mobile and insurance has changed to auto billing. It might be more or less depending on every month expenditure  for utilities and mobile.

2) Great news perhaps is that paying Aeon CC via Pos Online MIGHT be eligible to get 10% (if HLB didnt filter it out), this is even better than PBSV, CIMB and UOB Vox is it is true.  brows.gif
*
But Posonline still charge some fees, right?

What is so hard to accept the facts if it becomes reality?

T&C change for cashback? then switch to other bank credit card lor.. not that difficult right?

It's not like bank pointing their gun at your head forcing you to use their CC

Banks also won't make loss if you terminate their card, like the bank cares? haha..
*
Nope, banks will be happier if more people cancel their cash back cards. At least overall profit still can be maintained.

I have calculated that the fee comes out to be 2.12%. just like I have used PBVS to pay Aeon CC online, the net cash back is 4.01%. imagine with HLB 10%, the net cash back would be almost 8%!
*
Emmmm, this card never gives 10% of cash back in the beginning.

I fully agree with you on this, like last week when stock piling of Milos, I almost cannot claim free gifts, lucky they saw me buying 2 cartons only they agree to combine 2 receipts to get the mugs doh.gif

One of the HL staff has send me application form as I requested for additional card.

However, an email that I replies is invalid, no idea why unable to send through

On the HLB online portal you can compose e-mail to them.

The worst thing is... I've just submitted application for Wise card!!!  bangwall.gif

You are too slow to enjoy the benefits mega_shok.gif
But I've been enjoying for the past 3 years, so not much issue, only a bit butt hurt as they charge AF this month yawn.gif
Still, don't jump in to any conclusion first and see what happen next.

Never jump in to conclusion as long as it is not official.
Cash backs considered as bonus and not what a bank must do.

It is still something for current bad economies. But only petrol and mobile I aim for rm50 per transaction, groceries won't really do so brows.gif
