Hi sifus, my wife and I plan to visit New York late next year. We intend to fly SQ. I checked the website but no miles was given. Only information available was SGD7K+ one way. Anyone know the approximate KF miles required for return flight New York on business class? Need to convert points before 1st June or not rugi! Thanks.

Just converted 2/3 into KF and 1/3 into Enrich. No choice, planning several locations that'll need both airlines.

Isn't it a bad idea to attend buffets during this Covid pandemic? Even if Lemon Garden provides massive discount, I'll be avoiding. After reading about the Korean experience and cruise ships, I believe buffets are very conducive in spreading the virus.

Went to Tasmania in early June last year. Transited at Sydney, spent 4 nights in Tasmania and returned to Sydney for another 3 nights. Tasmania was a great place to visit. Unfortunately like many islands, it was quite expensive there. Need to spend close to a week here to truly experience Tasmania otherwise not worth the extra cost and time to travel the distance to get there. I've intention to return after several years.

Not an easy and straight forward answer to that. First of all nothing is cheap in Sydney, period.
We stayed with AirBnb in Tasmania, therefore managed to self cook there. Normally in Australia it is expensive to eat out but much cheaper to self cook because produce is cheap. However in Tasmania, produce is not as cheap as in Melbourne or Sydney. I also find that petrol was more expensive there during my brief stay. Nevertheless, accommodation is definitely cheaper than Sydney.

I had the same problem. Initially my Visa card could wave but suddenly became faulty as well. Three weeks ago I went to Card Centre at 1U for replacement cards. Decided to replace both Amex and Visa so that can use wave function.

I decided to have the replacement cards sent to my house which supposedly would take 1 week. Two weeks went by with no news at all. I called Maybank hotline and after checking, the officer told me that Poslaju tried to deliver to me but no one at home. Poslaju also did not leave any message or card to inform of this failed delivery. Finally I had to go to Poslaju to pick up my cards. Now I can use contactless payment for both cards but Poslaju was really pathetic.
