Hello guys. Just got my Amex Reserve and Visa Infinite a couple of weeks ago. I tried to link the Amex to my paypal and grab account but they reject? Anyone can advise why?

Also after reading this forum, many state that using the Visa card would not get 5 Treatpoints. However when I check the details online, it says that using Visa will also get 5x TP. Which is correct?

You will need to call CS to turn on your online transactions feature.
Not targeting for vouchers obviously. I already maxed out my PBB VS, QMC, SCB JOP, LFC and MBB FCB VS for BP. Not forgetting AmEx Plat for other usage and UOB YOLO for bills. No intention to add more cards as I'm trying to consolidate and remove some lowly utilized cards. Nevertheless, if I use for MUVI and AR, usually for airmiles purpose. smile.gif

No wonder! I was thinking why cannot link.
Thanks. Will call CS.

The TP macam tak cukup to redeem in SQ. Need 92,000 for 1 way

How much time you plan to spend in Europe?

1. If you want to join a group tour around EU, can start and end in London (7 ~ 30 days trip)

2. If you want to choose only 1 city can try those medieval city like Rome, Prague or Edinburgh.

But to each country is their own. I will definitely go to EU multiple times in future and visit some other cities

I plan to stay only 14 days. 3 to 4 cities at the most.

92000 treatpoints or KF miles?

Ngam ngam enough for 4x 92k KF.
As mentioned by bro knwong, every city is unique and has different thing to see / do.
Also europe is very small, you can go around multiple cities / countries easily by train, don't restrict yourself to one.

London / Paris are best bet.
Milan / Rome if you like Italy.
Barcelona if you like Spain / Portugal.
Frankfurt / Munich are great transit hub to other European cities.
Zurich for Alps.
Missed out Amsterdam, which is another great city.

If you can't make up your mind, let seat availability determine your destination.

I am just thinking of the entry city that uses the least KF miles. So if London is the cheapest to enter and exit thru London and I will travel between the cities by train.

I will not travel to Europe in foresearable future, they are very racist atm.
Kf Miles, one way
Fly out from London is expensive, as the tax for premium cabin is high, u need pay more in cash.
Btw London is one of the most unappealing city in Europe, not sure why so many people suggest travel to London.

The least miles to Europe is turkey
*
Thank you. I was just using London as an example...since Turkey is the cheapest then I may plan for Turkey, Greece and Spain. My plan is next year sometime in Oct so I will have time to collect more points and maybe go for 1st class instead.

Been to Tassie a few years back. Took the Spirit of Tasmania from Melbourne. Now I want to travel to Europe as I haven't been there. I do shop but nothing too fancy. I prefer spending my money on experiences, nice hotels and food.

high 5 spending money on experience and nice hotels but food i wont spend much haha
How many days will you recommend to spend in Tasmania ?
*

I spent 3 nights there. Very very quiet and you can see the space between the houses...OMG. Its like each lot is one acre. The people are not very friendly or maybe they are just reserve. If you like the quiet can spend 3 nights but if you don't just 2 nights will do

Ya prefer to visit some place which is calm and slow pace now.
I surveyed the mode of transport to Tasmania,  Spirit of Tasmania vs flight (MEL - HBA) and found that flight is cheaper and faster than the ferry . You taking ferry due to vehicle rent from MEL ?
Thanks for the great tips. Am planning 2 days in MEL + 3 days in Tasmania + 2 days in MEL
Prefer visit nature than city now
*
No we rented a vehicle when we reach Tassie. We took the Spirit as we wanted to try the experience.

Yeah I took night time ferry...You do save 1 night's hotel price. I say not bad lah...get to look around...mix with people. If on a budget don't take it

Any idea how long before the miles is reflected in the Krisflyer account

Also is the MBB Krisflyer card comparable to the Platinum card?
