No reason to keep KF gold , they can give miles on insurance and education spending, but how many of these accept amex? Especially insurance , so this become rubbish card, expect at least half of the user cut it

Surprisingly some CC do extend the coverage for redemption ticket.

I didn't really go into very detail for Maybank policy / t&c, similarly I doubt redemption ticket is covered.
Most of the bank will have clause "full ticket price purchased with xx CC", you may not eligible if you use AirAsia Big Points to offset RM10 from your ticket???

Did call MBB CS some time ago to ask about insurance stuff.
He gave me very unconvincing answers.
A few highlights to take note: Family = you + spouse + kids below age xx.
Parents, brothers etc are NOT included as family!
For flight delay / baggage delay, you need to spend on essential and claim back from CC, whereas travel insurance will give you one lump sum.
Hence it is best to purchase separate travel insurance.
