Well, no EPL matches currently to try luck for 5x. Try to spend more on groceries and overseas online transactions since can't travel to overseas yet. These will give you 5x TP otherwise only 2x. Otherwise, whenever possible use the AmEx Reserve for local transactions because that gives 5xTP.

hey guys, just wanna know whether paying GBP university fees, will i be awarded 5x or 1x TP?

MBB T&C states 1x, but (i searched) in 2018, there were ppl commenting saying it was random (could be 1x or 5x).

Currently Paying GBP university fees thru SCB WorldMiles, did the calculation it's MYR1.33/mile. Alliance VI is MYR1.2/mile, however, we got rejected for that card. and if MBB 2 Cards Premier awards 5x , it's MYR0.94/Mile.

note: i calculated the MYR/mile in 2019, so i hope it's still the same

Both of you are calculating different value.
Your 0.04/m is the value of mile when use for flight redemption.

His calculation is how much spend needed to get 1 mile.
The higher value, the poorer return.

Economy class will usually land you 3-4 cent/mile (3-4% when using Amex)
You rather use those CC giving cash back 5%
