It wasn't a waiver but a reduction in spending requirement, to RM50k.

M2premier don't give waiver normally.

I feel Maybank is so horrible now, recently I saw HLB is advertising Earn Unlimited Enrich miles with better earning rates than tiger bank.

I have for some time already but the conversion rate is not favorable. Still sticking back to Alliance VI and UOB PRIV Miles Elite.

But UOB has 10x points for overseas. So RM 0.90=1 mile.

I’m not using it for local, that card is not for local spending. For local I use Alliance VI.
HLB is OK only, it was better last time before the revised the rate but that time I was using CIMB TWE almost exclusively. Then CIMB also revised but couldn’t use HLB that much due to the rate, the good thing is the high limit they give to me. I have both HLB VI and Sutera.

Funny. Which sentence of yours said you were referring to local? Didn’t I mention about Alliance VI too? It’s more favorable than HLB when it comes to local spending.

Don’t assume everyone’s spending same as yours. Though I also spend locally but you didn’t mention about you applying HLB for local. Or did you? I may have overlooked.

It will take a long time to earn enough air miles from local spending. And then there is the redemption limit and wait list. Not that you are guaranteed seats even if you have all the air miles required.
