it is 10k for both supp card (AMEX + VI)..
and that was given before GST introduced to offset credit card gst RM50 back then..

what are the interesting places worth booking with enrich?
most of them are useless these days with the amount of miles/taxes.

somewhere air asia doesn't fly?

most international destinations like the US and europe are also missing.

IMHO, 2CPremier is only worth it if you can earn enough points to exchange to air miles due to its best conversion rate and TP earning rate (though not as good as last time). Even with VI card, you get 2TP for every RM1 spent.

2 years worth of collecting points allowed me to fly business on cathay pacific by just paying RM 1k on taxes for 2 pax. Cash purchase value of the ticket is about RM 34k for 2 pax. Think of it as having a big treat once awhile.

Some people prefer monthly cash rebates. I prefer having being rewarded with big treats once awhile. 2 years of RM 50 - 100 cash rebates does not give the equivalent value as flying J class.

For those who want to optimize earning, i suggest to pair this card with either HLB Mach Signature or MBB Krisflyer Amex to take advantage of points earning from Utilities and Government. If you can get HLB VI or Alliance VI, all the better.

Just stay away from HSBC cards even though their advertised conversion rate looks good. They come with lots of T&C and limitation. I had a big headache trying to figure out when to use the card and when not to.

CIMB VI or World Mastercard while has good potential miles earning rate, the AF is too expensive and to get a waiver is a bi**h. Have to spend like RM 1Mil to get automatic waiver. There's also a limitation on the number of miles earned a year.

which airline miles did you convert your points to?

20K TP can exchnge to 4.2K airmiles, one airmiles is about 0.10 (enrich miles).  No worth to exchange AA bigpoint by using TP from premier cards.

how about KF and asia miles?

just performed my redemption to 30k asia miles
indeed earning treats points was very easy with the 5x thingy.

RM 1 = 5 TP
4.77TP = 1 mile
RM 1 > 1 mile? thumbsup.gif

question now
how long does it take for it to be processed?
any members can share?

Call cs today to check for the Amex Reserve 10x point campaign, cs is very honest to say that this campaign is designed for inactive card user only.

No way to add us in. So you know, spend less will get you better promo next time with Maybank.

interesting. at least this information is helpful. so our suspicion is correct.
