The initial fees alone is high, don't even talk about the AF

On a value for miles basis, you get the best deal redeeming j class....

You generally need 2.5 times more miles, buy your ticket will be priced 5-7 times y fares....

And slowly you will become an MU fan. That's the genius of the MU executive who signed this deal with Maybank 

You use 76k to redeem economy seat cost SGD1220,then you mile only worth SGD0.016/mile .
Compare to if you use 85k to redeem 1 way Business class cost SGD4247,then your mile is worth SGD0.049/mile.
If i were you i would rather use cash to buy Economy class and accumulate my Krisflyer mile for Business Class

Everyone would like to do so, but not everyone can afford it.
For big spenders, for sure no problem.
For those marginally getting 200k+ after 3+3 years (TP + KF), this might be a good way to reward spouse and kid for an outing.

Besides, for those flying moderately (MH, SQ, CX), they may accumulated 80-100k airmiles after 3 years, but insufficient to redeem 3 business class tickets (after combine with TP redemption), they are forced to opt for economy.
Nevertheless, flying on business (or first class) should be the aim for those holding M2P, else you are not fully utilizing the benefits

For KL London - MH is 58K while SQ is 70K++ (economy)

For Business - MH is around 200K, SQ is 170k

Plus airport tax is higher for SQ

Can top up with Reserve 2 Amex? I think more retailers/merchants are accepting GrabPay instead of BigPay right? Lastly, is using it while travelling means big savings on forex conversion?
