I just bought a BMW, and I tried! No way they said...maybe for selected VIP only

no, it can be done locally, depend on the deal they give.
At least for bmw it is possible, but not all bmw dealer in malaysia accept Amex. Jb Tampoi only accept visa master

If I recalled correctly, annual fees for Centurion is waive-able with a min spend of per year.

This was told to me by a Centurion holder which I knew personally.

What exact amount, I can't be sure.

The initial fees alone is high, don't even talk about the AF  biggrin.gif
This one is a personal choice lor. Some people want to have that 12m points for 1st class tickets  biggrin.gif

Depend on your sale advisor, any thing can be done , at least for bmw is yes, they can let u use cc without additional charges, is just part of the deal, depend how u deal it.

Hi Shifus

I understand that the MU VI card gets 5 TreatsPoint for transactions in foreign currency.

If MU wins the match on the day of the transaction, is there another 5x Treatspoint for the foreign currency transaction?

Thank you!
*
No, max is 5point total

On a value for miles basis, you get the best deal redeeming j class....

You generally need 2.5 times more miles, buy your ticket will be priced 5-7 times y fares....
*
Not that big diff I think, for sq usually the retail price of j is 3 times of y

You use 76k to redeem economy seat cost SGD1220,then you mile only worth SGD0.016/mile .
Compare to if you use 85k to redeem 1 way Business class cost SGD4247,then your mile is worth SGD0.049/mile.
If i were you i would rather use cash to buy Economy class and accumulate my Krisflyer mile for Business Class
*
most people know this rational, but there is opportunity cost, your example is better use of miles but you need more cash outlay, not nessesary for everyone.

Everyone would like to do so, but not everyone can afford it.
For big spenders, for sure no problem.
For those marginally getting 200k+ after 3+3 years (TP + KF), this might be a good way to reward spouse and kid for an outing.

Besides, for those flying moderately (MH, SQ, CX), they may accumulated 80-100k airmiles after 3 years, but insufficient to redeem 3 business class tickets (after combine with TP redemption), they are forced to opt for economy.
Nevertheless, flying on business (or first class) should be the aim for those holding M2P, else you are not fully utilizing the benefits tongue.gif

Some people do get 1m miles monthly with this card.....

Yea, depending on sector i guess but...

For KL London - MH is 58K while SQ is 70K++ (economy)

For Business - MH is around 200K, SQ is 170k

Plus airport tax is higher for SQ
*
Mh depend on revenue ticket price ....
For zone base, sq is definitely not the cheapest out there ...

Can top up with Reserve 2 Amex? I think more retailers/merchants are accepting GrabPay instead of BigPay right? Lastly, is using it while travelling means big savings on forex conversion?
*
No, only visa master accepted
Acceptance wise, big pay win grab pay hand down, no contest.. haha
