klcpd is possibly from cheque processing dept

the amount would be some manual processing fee for cheque-related transactions?

A risk will be Maybank will revert back the point given out
*
exactly. maybank can clawback the points anytime.

things could happen:

1) mbb noticed error
2) someone asked mbb about bigpay (famous reason)
3) someone reported to mbb

*
better start shopping from tyre shop first. not many available that accept amex and give reasonable price too.

Always change my car tyre while service in proper service centre.
They are accepting Amex and best part is, the price is quite similar to outside tyre shop.
I was rather sceptical initially and go for comparison, then call back to service centre and ask them to proceed.
*
i experienced this with toyota svc ctr. at first they offered tyre replacement. price is almost comparable with outside, just a tad 10's more. breakpad even more expensive due to "original" piece where outside you can decide some "economy" pads.

tried honda and mitsubishi, they dont accept amex though biggrin.gif previously was using FCB VS, then changed to BP, now i guess resort back to FCB VS again.

How much mdr any idea? For both visa and amex
*
different bank, different merchant, different rate

banks give different rate depending on the merchant's business and volume. sometimes they give competitive rate (to fight with other banks) if they want your business (if you have high volume or well-known brand).

Not sure if OT but couldn't find anywhere else to ask.

Understandably MBB has stopped awarding TP/CB for their credit cards. Does this also affect Membership Rewards points if using the American Express Platinum charge card?

Please note I am referring to The Platinum Card by American Express - Not to be confused with MBB Amex Platinum or MBB M2C Amex Platinum.

Any other Platinum Card user can confirm?

affected too

You know someone inside?

based on those reportings in mbb2card and mbb fcb vs threads.

use the time as a guideline, nobody knows the exact date.

those planing to use amex to pay TM bills, better quickly add them as favorite today.

note sure if ad-hoc pay bill (non-favorite) will work or not; or what will happen later.

so meaning most mbb terminals are amex ready/approved just some merchant not willing to use them

isn't the charge rate similar now?
*
few factors

1) terminal support
2) commercial agreement
3) bank acceptance
4) merchant mentality

If I am not mistaken, the card includes a travel insurance as long as 100% of the charges is charged using the card.
1. Must I charge fully on visa or amex or it does not matter as long as i charged all the cost using any or both of them?
2. If there is something happen during the travel, does the insurance cover only me or does it cover everyone in the party paid using the card as long as I am travelling together?
3. If not, does the insurance covers the supplementary card holder if the cost is charged via the principle card?
4. How to report or claim for any compensation should anything happen?

thank you. i tried to check for the product disclosure info but could find much info.

Hi, if I were to buy the TnG reload pin from Petronas kiosk with credit card, do I still get 1TP per RM spent? I see that I'm actually paying to Petronas, and not TnG directly.
*
before getting excited, how & where exactly can you "buy the TnG reload pin from Petronas kiosk with credit card" ?
