Getting Started

|
QUOTE(brogress @ Apr 15 2019, 03:59 PM) Sifus, has anyone used the MU Visa Infinite Concierge service. Am heading to Japan, and want to get a table at one of those closed door private sushi bars. Was told they don't entertain non-Japanese speaker requests. Has anyone tried using this concierge service and can share your experience? As an alternative, I haven't tried it, but my friends all have had success using https://www.tableall.com/. Of course they charge a markup but it's supposedly the least compared to other sites.

Guys, it is worth it to spend TP buying stuff? I'm thinking to get a fitbit versa, I can either spend RM800 of my cold hard cash to get one or spend all of my TP + RM80 from supoerbuy.
My TP is collecting dust, dunno what to use it for.

Im sure majority here collects TP just for redeeming miles and not for buying stuff as most of the stuff in the catalogue are expensive or even marked up. But its up to you... Its your points so you can decide. For me ill definitely collect to redeem biz class tickets for my family within 3 years or less depending on my spending

I have never and would never buy stuff using my TP because the yield is so bad. How many TPs are you using up? I saw a Versa on Superbuy is 465k TP, which is slightly more than 100k airmiles (assuming they're all from M2P cards), which is definitely more than RM800. Maybe you can redeem a ticket and sell to friends and family who need to fly? For example, last time I checked (from memory), it was less than 80k Krisflyer miles for economy return ticket on SQ to Europe. You can also check the Spontaneous Getaways for better deals.. Surely can find someone who needs to travel? This post has been edited by lilsunflower: Apr 16 2019, 03:19 PM

Logically, there will not be any EPL match kickoff at 11:30PM UK time, will it? Hypothetically, if there's a MU match kick off at April 28 11:30PM and they won, all the spending has to be done on April 28 MY time in order to get the 5x.

Dear Sifus
New to posting in this forum. Thank you for all your valuable insights so far.
Just wondering if it is possible / or anyone has tried to top up various BP account using the MUVI ? Say I apply for a BP account for a family member and top up both (mine and my family) BP accounts with the MUVI. Different BP agents/CS are like saying different things. Thanks
