Hi guys, I use the 2 cards since 2017 and have never been charged annual fees due to many business travels, but they charged me RM800 annual fee last month. I called the CS and requested for a waiver, but it was disapproved and even after an appealed, still not accepted. Another casualty of Covid-19 I guess.

I was told if I downgrade to Platinum 2 cards they can waive the annual fees, but their lack of empathy in the current situation strikes me and I am thinking of cancelling the cards altogether.

May I ask your opinion if the exclusive benefits of these 2 cards are worth the annual fees? I foresee travels to begin again once vaccines are available, but some other banks may offer similar benefits or better. Thank you.

Apparently, only Maybank cards are allowed for Shopee or Lazada 0% instalment schemes. I don't have a Maybank card as of now. Keen to know what's the catch on this and why haven't other banks follow their steps? Anything from Maybank CC users?
