Have to ask those that claim they still got 2x TP from reloading BigPay

As far as I am concern, no TP unless proven otherwise. Will be dumb for Maybank to specifically exclude e-wallet but still let BP thru

last time some people claimed those with 1x TP will get bonus to 5x when MU win (education, utilities, insurance). Not exactly proven though

But what is sure is that 0x TP transactions (government bodies) won't get any 5x bonus even if MU wins

Those that uses ipaymy to pay your invoices etc

Beware that there's timezone difference because they using foreign payment processor....

I 'swipe' around 11 Aug 4am and the transaction date is listed as 10 Aug wtf

And i need some miles more to reach my target, that's why i don't mind paying some processing fee

ipaymy told me that their payment processor (i think it's Square) is on UTC-8 (probably because based on in San Francisco, California). I 'swiped' at 4am 11 Aug, but transaction date was put as 10 Aug in my statement

I called Maybank CS to verify and they are still investigating. But they can see that I initiated the payment on 11 Aug, and agree to adjust/credit the bonus TP to me (MU win Chelsea). They also said they will let me know the reason once they finished with their investigation.

So a few scenarios and question why this happen

1. The transaction date is based on the payment processor (i.e. Square) and follow UTC-8 (16-hr timezone difference with MY). However, wouldn't this usually applicable only for 'foreign transactions'? If so, I would have get 5x TP straight. (I vaguely remember somebody posted that u still get 5x TP even u pay in Ringgit but the payment processor is oversea)

2. However, following on #1, my CC statement clearly put the ipaymy transaction as Kuala Lumpur, MY (hence only 2x TP credited). So consider local transaction, but wrong transaction date?

Anyway, will wait for news from Maybank CS. Hopefully just a glitch

To answer your question, yes. Should be safe to swipe after 4pm MY time so that transaction date is on the same day (if #1 Scenario holds true). 4pm MY time = 12am San Francisco time

Normally we wait for MU matches to end only swipe, so it's not a big issue in terms of the UTC-8 timezone (as long as swipe after 4pm, transaction date will be on the same day)

Can I assume you tried before to swipe ipaymy after 12am midnight (KL local time), and managed to get 5x TP because transaction date haven't cross over (since UTC-8)?
