QUOTE(butterflz @ Aug 13 2019, 09:09 PM) Just to clear up ... Is there still TP on the MUVI for top up to BP? It was like no and then yes, but seems like it’s such a discreet topic. Have to ask those that claim they still got 2x TP from reloading BigPayMuch thanks on the clarification. As far as I am concern, no TP unless proven otherwise. Will be dumb for Maybank to specifically exclude e-wallet but still let BP thru This post has been edited by tohff7: Aug 13 2019, 09:16 PM |

QUOTE(rx330 @ Aug 16 2019, 03:00 PM) last time some people claimed those with 1x TP will get bonus to 5x when MU win (education, utilities, insurance). Not exactly proven thoughBut what is sure is that 0x TP transactions (government bodies) won't get any 5x bonus even if MU wins |

Those that uses ipaymy to pay your invoices etc
Beware that there's timezone difference because they using foreign payment processor.... I 'swipe' around 11 Aug 4am and the transaction date is listed as 10 Aug wtf |

QUOTE(peigeng @ Aug 20 2019, 04:09 PM) I don't know how to calculate timezone, but on 24th match ,if I spend after the match (before 11.59pm) via ipaymy, will get 5x not? ipaymy told me that their payment processor (i think it's Square) is on UTC-8 (probably because based on in San Francisco, California). I 'swiped' at 4am 11 Aug, but transaction date was put as 10 Aug in my statementI called Maybank CS to verify and they are still investigating. But they can see that I initiated the payment on 11 Aug, and agree to adjust/credit the bonus TP to me (MU win Chelsea). They also said they will let me know the reason once they finished with their investigation. So a few scenarios and question why this happen 1. The transaction date is based on the payment processor (i.e. Square) and follow UTC-8 (16-hr timezone difference with MY). However, wouldn't this usually applicable only for 'foreign transactions'? If so, I would have get 5x TP straight. (I vaguely remember somebody posted that u still get 5x TP even u pay in Ringgit but the payment processor is oversea) 2. However, following on #1, my CC statement clearly put the ipaymy transaction as Kuala Lumpur, MY (hence only 2x TP credited). So consider local transaction, but wrong transaction date? Anyway, will wait for news from Maybank CS. Hopefully just a glitch EDIT To answer your question, yes. Should be safe to swipe after 4pm MY time so that transaction date is on the same day (if #1 Scenario holds true). 4pm MY time = 12am San Francisco time This post has been edited by tohff7: Aug 20 2019, 05:01 PM |

QUOTE(charlesj @ Aug 20 2019, 05:12 PM) 1.99% for 2TP, no. Normally we wait for MU matches to end only swipe, so it's not a big issue in terms of the UTC-8 timezone (as long as swipe after 4pm, transaction date will be on the same day)If 5TP, yes. Has to pay for actual expenses / invoices. If MS by paying yourself / wife, you may get into deep shit. Exactly. If it wasn't listed as MY, I think all of us has been using long ago Can I assume you tried before to swipe ipaymy after 12am midnight (KL local time), and managed to get 5x TP because transaction date haven't cross over (since UTC-8)? |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Sep 10 2019, 11:23 PM) I see can you really get two business class tix for 25k miles? That is quite worth. I am new to this miles thingy. Hoping to get my card approved in the next few days. 25k miles maybe only 1-way business class ticket to ASEAN countries...(not too sure). which is not worth it since flight time is short.aim for long-haul like to Europe or US as a benchmark Asiamiles - 140k miles for business class return to Europe (higher tax and surcharge) Krisflyer - 170k miles for business class return tickets to Europe (lower tax) |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 12 2019, 08:59 AM) Sorry but how did you guys do this? I haven't redeemed before and I don't see this redemption award. I tried and it mentioned not eligible for AM award. Try multi-city/stopover redemptionOr at least let me know what to Google. Yes but they also need to manually calculate. You can do it too. Since you got charged, I assumed your card anniversary is in September. Therefore, calculate your spending from Sept 2018 to August 26th 2019. Use the new M2U page with donut chart spending and filter according to month. Put SIN-NRT, then NRT-KUL. 70k miles required for business class Normal return KUL-NRT is 100k miles |
